Near the Diamond/Pearl era we had terrible luck. Sometimes, they wouldn't have the original music at all. All terrible synth from TPCi.

Last time I watched the Japanese version on the reg was the end of Diamond and Pearl so it seems to be a late dub thing, which is a shame. Most of it is still the same though even in those episodes. Maybe some weird rights issue popped up.
