It provides all the necessary information well, though some of it could be done more elegantly with less or smaller icons, icons only instead of text, etc. Some of it depends on the chosen (if any) objective or your class and skills (ie, soldiers can see others' ammo counters to refill them when needed). You can disable things like the kill and XP messages. Anyway, the game is a jagfest regardless of AA settings (in game and NV CP) for some reason.

It looks pretty damn nice in places and 60fps feels good, but eh... it's still underwhelming me like the console version did.

I'm going to hop into multiplayer next week though to see what that's like.

LOL That what I was saying! But if you've played Brink, It's nice to know that the over crowded HUD actually HELPS. Sure, it's a bit intrusive, but it certainly forces team work, and keeps you updated on your team mates status.

Otherwise you'd just be randomly throwing down ammo for no reason, and the like.

You could try MLAA, should work brilliantly with GTA IV.
