For once I agree with you. I'd have rather have had Fed / Nadal in the semis.MIMIC said:I know I'm late, but holy shit......THANK YOU, NOVAK! Coming back down 2 sets to win in 5??? LEGENDARY DJOKERNAUT!
Also, U.S. Open denied another Fedal final. To those who helped rig yet another slam draw: fuck you and have a nice day.

At least I hope not...

How so?travisbickle said:Shouldn't we be giving the miserable tennis player award to Federer these days? He basically disrespected Djokovic at the post-match interview after his loss.
Manics said:How so?
travisbickle said:A shot by Djokovic which was described as the "one of the greatest shots ever played" by McEnroe was described as pure luck by Federer. Federer doesn't like losing, he's always a hissy bitch at post-match interviews after a loss.
I have no problem with it, to me the players are passionate, but for everyone complaining about Murray you need to watch Federer at post-match interviews after he loses to see a real whiner.
I don't see this as bitterness. I agree with him. That return was a hit and hope, and it worked. No matter how good you are, swinging off a serve like that is a massive risk. To do that on a match point shows he was out of it already, and he got the luck to change the momentum one last time. I don't think Fed was trying to detract from Novak's performance, he was just answering honestly about a specific point.MIMIC said:LOL, I'm still reading the interview:
Q. Could you hit a much better serve for the return he hit that winner?
ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, much better. I didn't hit the best serve. But it's just the way he returns that. It's just not -- a guy who believes much, you know, anymore in winning. Then to lose against someone like that, it's very disappointing, because you feel like he was mentally out of it already. Just gets the lucky shot at the end, and off you go.
Haha, so bitter.
That return must've been the greatest return to ever been hit on earth, wish I saw it live. Is there a video about it on the net yet?Pazuzu9 said:I don't see this as bitterness. I agree with him. royalan said:This has been debated to death, but what do you guys thing of Woz's ranking?
I mean, she deserves it I guess. But more and more it seems like she's only #1 because she plays in freaking everything. But every time it comes down to it she caves to a competitive player. Her game just isn't offensive at all...
