Overall, I liked the conference. It was very solid and perhaps Microsoft's most well-paced presentation to date, especially taking into account the focus on games over multimedia coverage. Microsoft did seem to play it fairly safe with mostly a display o third party representation (sadly, barely any of those games interested me), but it was good that it took some time to cover indie support as well. As far as exclusives go, I was fairly disappointed, especially in terms of games coming out this year. Sunset Over Drive looks like a lot of fun , but that's about it as far as exclusives go this year. Beyond that, Scalebound seems like it could every good given Platinum's expertise in action genre, but without gameplay footage, it' was fairly hard to be that impressed. I wasn't interested in Fable Legends or whatever Phantom Dust is. I've never been a fan of traditional racing games and while I'm not interested in Halo, I give credit to Microsoft for offering multiple things for the fans to look forward.
It was much better conference for Microsoft than last year's, and it won't necessarily be an easy win for Sony this time around, but it will really boil down to what exclusives it will bring to the table. Anyway, I agree the conference is about a 7/10.
