Men's Road Race coming up. Very interesting route this year.

An Excitebike track? Didn't expect that.

Damn, Aussie World Champ barely scrapes through in 3rd in the sculls. Crazy water conditions.

Edit: Wait, was that Dumolin at the side of the road of the road race? Strange he is riding and not saving himself for the TT. Might struggle to get back on if the attacks continue.

I cried a bit watching the ceremony while getting way too drunk last night. Glad to see y'all liked. I will admit I was on the negativity camp, but now I am filled with glorious patriotic spirit. Also with great headache from drinking too much. I guess I will watch sports while wishing for a swift end for my suffering.

Norway women's handball team always slow out of the gate in tournaments. Some sloppy stuff early on in this match and Brazil are super physical.

As a DUTCHman, watching a BELGIAN broadcast, on a JAPANESE tv of the games in BRAZIL, while commenting on a U.S. based website with my CHINESE phone...

Man, this world is tiny.

Man, the live streaming options for Austria are garbage. I have to watch NBC BBC through VPN to be able to watch the handball. This regional lock of streaming is shit.

Brazil vs. Norway handball game is really entertaining.

This handball game has been the most exciting thing about these olympic games so far. A great back and forth affair. Brazilians are really passionate fans too lol. I think they would loudly cheer their countrymen/women if it was a paint watching contest.

It was a disaster if you were subject to NBC's bitch ass coverage. Glad to hear you guys are feeling good and proud about the event you put together. So far, things are looking good.

Watching the Judo now, the games could really benefit from having MMA as a sport.

We all wish for that, but how would that work? The games take place over a 2 1/2 week span. I'm sure they could find a way to make it work, but it wouldn't be what we see in the UFC. Fighters would have to fight 3-4 times in that timeframe.

Probably, although Brazil's women's team has really been on the rise in the past couple of years. New coach turned things around to the point where the home crowd will be hoping for a medal.

After the constant talking over in the opening ceremonies I kept thinking my audio was cutting out at the lack of commentating in the streams.

Field hockey Netherlands Argentina is a final right out of the gate. All three people who watch field hockey are in for a treat.

actually field hockey is apparently the number three or four most popular sport in the world, because of India and Pakistan

Wow, looking at the rowing now, there's probably a real advantage in an early heat.

There's no 'fastest loser' qualification, is there?

I have more faith on Brazil's women on just about every sports I kinda of follow. Particularly soccer, I would be very surprised if women soccer didn't take the gold. The men, on the other hand, meh.

NBC Sports app with chrome casting seems like it is the way to go. Even though the app is a little buggy, I think this is as good as it is going to get for me
The handball game is pretty intense right now.

Yeah, that's a problem to say the least. The competitors would be practially dead by the time of the finals :P
How do they do it in the boxing?

For those watching rowing - that's not the polluted bay, it's a lake in the middle of the city separated by a strip of land from the sea. It's lovely

Korea's volley team fighting back to take 2nd set easily in the rivalry match vs Japan. As always watch out for SK's no 10

Norway finished the 1st handball half a little better.

Fencers look cool
