I have to cheer for China after how they've beaten Brazil. All heart. Go China!

Man, NED has a terrible track record with semis in Rio. Pretty much every team lost, with the hockey women being a notable exception. Volleyball ladies should have won the third set, this one is gonna be super tough now.

I thought it was equal or more than 15 pt + a 2pt difference to win the 3rd and final set. Maybe that's a Beach Volleyball rule.

In the criminal justice system, sexually based offences are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories...

I dislike the notion of "going out on top", "if you're not first you're last" mentality regarding Phelps and Bolt. If they genuinely don't love their respective sports anymore and don't want to compete, more power to them, but people saying 'don't be selfish, let new blood come in, don't tarnish your legacy', to be a sportsman goes beyond that.

This is what Roger Federer said to those who want him to retire so he doesn't keep losing and ruining his once near perfect slam and open era record.

"I don’t want to say I’m enjoying it more, but it’s different. I have a deeper love for the game today. Before it was chasing the dream. Today it is living the dream and appreciating I can still do it. It’s a wonderful feeling.” People were like, well, what else are you playing for? I’m like, what’s wrong with you people? Don’t you understand that playing tennis is great fun? I don’t need to win three slams a year to be content. If the body doesn’t want to do it, if the mind doesn’t want to do it, if my wife doesn’t want me to do it, if my kids don’t like it, I’ll stop tomorrow. Zero problem. But I love tennis in such a big way that I don’t care if I don’t win so much any more. For me that is irrelevant.”

He plays because he loves the sport. We still see spectacular tennis because of it even as Novak and Andy have taken over. It is what they have done since children. To play just to win and then stop just so you don't lose a perfect record or becauae you won't be the best, makes you forget why you did it when you weren't the best. Bolt can still win in Tokyo, as can Phelps. There is still gas in the tank.

When I'm looking at that pic, all I can say is De Grasse is far from being the next Bolt right now, there's Bolt and the others are all so close it could have been anyone.

De Grasse has a weird hitch in his arm when he runs, but his coaches determined that they didn't have enough time to do a proper correction in the lead up to the Olympics. He's not been fully optimised mechanically, and should improve with some tinkering.

He is also young and his muscles isn't nearly as "developed" as some of the older sprinters.

Let's stop this talk right now. Andre is good, but he is not the next Bolt. Not by a long shot. No amount of tinkering and optimization is gonna get him to Bolt's level. Or close to it. Kinda remind me of people saying Jerry Stackhouse or Steve Smith was the next Jordan lol. Or Baby Jordan from the Heat.

While young and with plenty of room for improvement, he is not going to be the "next Bolt". Let us not forget Bolt was doing this when he was around De Grasse's current age of 21 going on 22.

De Grasse wasn't even on the map 16 months ago. We have no idea if some other wonderkid will appear out of nowhere before 2020.

This too, before the 2015 Pan Ams, no one really knew who he was. Sure made a name for himself.

I'll fight anyone who disparages the Fed. He can do whatever he wants in my book. I love watching him play, nobody does it the same way.

Phelps could win the 200 IM with training in 2020, and Bolt could win the 200m with training as well. If they so please.
