Anyone from 7th to 3rd could have won the bronze
When I'm looking at that pic, all I can say is De Grasse is far from being the next Bolt right now, there's Bolt and the others are all so close it could have been anyone.
He will win in 2020 if he keeps improving, as he should.
But it's not a sure thing like some here make it seem, you never know what the next crop of athletes will bring in 2020.

There's still basketball left, but underperforming in tennis and shooting prob means no.
De Grasse has a weird hitch in his arm when he runs, but his coaches determined that they didn't have enough time to do a proper correction in the lead up to the Olympics. He's not been fully optimised mechanically, and should improve with some tinkering.
He is also young and his muscles isn't nearly as "developed" as some of the older sprinters.
I hope that wonderkid is from the US, so we have a fun US-Canada rivalry at the 100 and 200.

Joesph Joyce is in his semi final Boxing match, this'll decide if he can go onto the final to win Silver or Gold.
The Women's Field Hockey Team play their final, Gold or Silver guaranteed. (They won bronze in 2012)
Lutalo Muhammad has his Taekwondo event, he won bronze in 2012.
Women's Pentathlon Final, we have 2 women involved, one of which, Samantha Murray won Silver in 2012.
We have two in the Individual Show Jumping, Nick Skelton and Ben Maher, both won a gold medal in 2012 but that was in the Team event.
Men's and Women's 4 x 100m Relays, Men's 50KM Walk, Women's 5000m and Pole Vault for the Athletics. Also heats for the 4 x 400m relay men and women's.
Two semi's for Canoeing, Liam Heath and a Team event.
Lastly, Prelims for Tom Daleys 10m Platform Dive.
We should come away with some medals, a few Gold would be nice.
