I do feel for Brazil a bit.

You have a country so proud of their soccer/football legacy, you finally get the olympics in your country and.... you don't medal.

If they spent less time complaining to the refs maybe they would be more focused.

Bravo Canada! We are proud of our girls

Fantastic from Nick, but it feels kind of uncomfortable that I get home and instantly start rooting for people to fail.

GOLD for Nick Skelton. Every one giving us a little breathing space above China...

Edit: He's 58. Is there an older gold medallist this Olympics? Possibly in the shooting?

Nick Skelton of the UK wins gold at the equestrian jumping.

Eric Lamaze collects Canada's 21st medal, taking bronze. He almost had gold there, surpassing Skelton's time, but at almost the last jump he knocked down one. So close. Lamaze won gold in Beijing in 2008.

Canada now just needs one more medal to tie its best ever non-boycotted result in the Olympics at Atlanta.

I feel for the fans because I know that feeling, but they're not entitled to success just because they're passionate about the sport. The team still has to come out and perform well. And when they don't perform well, they have to hold their head high, take the L, and move on. I'm looking at you, WC men's team.
