Generally yes but you have to pay for shipping

mac said:Wow, nearly 10 pages of ass shots of gaffers.
Anyway, anyone know when Lucky's does that yearly sale where you can score their jeans for 50$? Those have to be the best jeans in the world. Very thin fabric, nice masculine cuts and plain fade washes. Almost boring, none of that cris-cross behind the knees and lower legs junk.
anyone?faridmon said:London GAFer here: where is the best place to buy jeans from in central London?
by that i mean cheap place that have good quality and good costumer service.
I hate GAP because of how expensive it can become and I have shopped at Uniqlo and think its OK.
Slim Jeans is what i want, by the way.
cheers

Just don't. You'll end up ruining your pair and I doubt any seamstress would try.lupin23rd said:OK long story short, how difficult / expensive is it to convert some button fly jeans to zip fly? :lol
you're both wrong. people are wearing raw denim, but that kinda past too. Just wear something normal-no acid wash jeans-go with something black or blue.exarkun said:I had an argument with a friend this weekend over drinks. He was arguing that acid washed jeans are making a comeback while I said it was the lighter color jeans that were coming back. Who is right or are we both wrong?

mac said:Jeez, I just want to buy a pair of pants that makes my ass look good. I'm not trying to start a new hobby built around wearing pants.
Also, ultra thin fabric. It's glorious. Like wearing pants made of linen.

srsly though in the summer, lighter weight pants are a must. subway swamp ass is terrible.

jon bones said:Nudie and APC use lighter denim. I have a pair of 12.5 oz nudies that are buttery soft and breathable.
And if you're in NYC, go to blue in greene and the APC store. Check out APC new standards, size down 1 so they're too tight (will loosen up quite a bit in a week or two) and pay about 170 for them.
You don't have to take special care of any jeans. I've been doing carpentry work in my acne jeans and wash them regularly. I will post a pick of them when I wash them and stop using them for intense labor.MaxSteel said:APC's look nice and that's close to my apt - do i have to take special care of them?

Tenks said:No. Just don't wash them. Make sure not to do any special attention to them and they'll be fine.
Why?MaxSteel said:well that's i mean - i want to be able to wash my jeans
Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:Why?
I mean, you can wash them, fuck that sort of denim elitism, but you really don't ever have to. Clean dirt spots manually, hang them when not wearing, and jeans look and smell good.
MaxSteel said:to clean them if i spill a bottle of beer on them or one of any other 1000 reasons i get shit dirty
Auron_Kale said:Then wash them as you see fit. The only reason we're saying you don't need to wash them that often is because just for everyday things, jeans don't get that dirty.
I mean, unless you're going to be playing football on the grass and mud, working on a car and getting grease on them, painting a house, or anything that'll increase your chances of getting your jeans dirty, not washing them for a few days in between wearing them will not kill you.
MaxSteel said:oh yeah totally - i wash my jeans every few weeks - probably wear them 10 times between washes.
i send my stuff out for cleaning though, so i don't have any control over how it's done. so i want to buy a pair of decent jeans that i don't' have to be careful with and can wash without worrying. also don't want dye rubbing off on my sneakers, shirts, etc.

MaxSteel said:thanks guys - haha i don't send them out for dry cleaning, i'm not michael scott. i just send out all my wash - i live in the city.
jon bones said:those look raw, have "fuck em!" embroidered on the ass and are a supreme collab which means they're rare and expensive! :/
i'd say just hit up the store and try em on and see how you like them. keep in mind they will stretch and get much softer in a short amount of time.
i live in the city and do my laundry... like a peasant![]()
The bruins and blazers are the only good Nike collabs from Supreme. I also like a small handful of the Vans and the Timberland collab will forever be dope, but Supreme fell off in 06 HARD.jon bones said:outside of their dunk / bruin collabs, i was never a huge fan
If you can sew try stringing a spider web-like design on your jean's crotch area once you see wear.Boonoo said:I hate crotch rips. Any tips for fixing them?
They're just a pair of Levi STFs, so I'll probably just grab another pair, but it's a pain for jeans to wear out after 9 or so months.

Hem a little off and save it for later. That's the only fix.Boonoo said:I hate crotch rips. Any tips for fixing them?
