Obviously not 360-S related, but since the new Colorware version is being discussed, I thought I'd show my PS3 that I got from them a couple years ago, in case people want to see what their work looks like for real. They really do excellent work, though yes, it is a bit expensive, though it was only about $100 when I did it. I would
NOT have done this for $175.
I was planning to buy a PS3, and right around that time I got a raise and my yearly bonus at work, so I decided to spend a little extra and get something special. Not sure why I chose orange (I'm not Dutch
), guess it just caught my eye. As seen in those PR pics from Colorware, you can get pretty much every single piece a different color if you want. I just stuck with
"Crush Orange" for mine.
Anyway, if anyone was wondering what a real console from Colorware looks like, here you go...

Nice fruity colour :P but how is the actual plastic quality? does the pad have a completely different material feel in your hands now? like with some unofficial pads the plastic feels thin, light and when you tap no it sounds rather cheap and might crack when dropped.
Very cool and much better then a console "skin"
