Miles Morales here in the german store is 59.99€ for base game, 79.99€ with the remaster of the first game. That is with current exchange rate 71.03$ and 94.71$. For a fucking standalone dlc.
The Lost Legacy had the decency to be a meaty standalone game priced 40€.
Good, now do the decent thing and murder the PS4 version of Horizon II and keep GOW Ragnarok a Next Gen Title.
Give the PS4 userbase a port of Returnal or something to keep them busy whilst they wait for stock.
They already gave you the estimated release timetable. You can go check instead of guessing. If I had to guess, I would say that most of Sony's first party games will not be PS5 exclusive for the next 2 years. They already said they plan to support the PS4 for 3 more years and if they did not do that they would miss out on so much money because the install base of the PS4 is massive compared to what the PS5 will be, even after 2 years.
I can see slightly smaller titles like R&C being PS5 exclusive but not God of war or Horizon because sony knows they would miss out on too much money. Also the fact that we are getting the new God of war so soon tells me that will be cross gen.
That and how many people are going to be sitting looking at their disc while they wait for a PS5.How many units in total were sold? This would be much more interesting.
Or how many people bought it thinking they could throw it in a PS4 since it’s Bc and they are going to get a PS5 eventually. The thirst.
I wonder what Sony's internal expectations regarding crossgen games is...
Like are they predicting a 1:1 split or what.

It doesn't cost $80. It cost $50. My question to you is.......what's the point is lying about the price on GAF? You know we have the proper information, so why lie?
Still waiting for my apology
Apology for what? I'm confused.
Read the post you made it's not hard. You flat out called me a liar and you were wrong.
I don't get it. The game simply isn't $80.

This is despite PS5 not launching here until this Thursday.
This bodes well for a quick transition into the new generation, people might remember that it didn't take long last time around for PS3 / 360 software sales to plummet.
People talk of leaving behind 100m consumers but let's be honest, there are only a few million hardcore gamers and once they migrate of your system, software sales are going to collapse.

How are you not understanding what I wrote....
I said "...don't feel good about buying a ~$80 expansion"
Was called a liar.
Replied "The base version is $64.99 Canadian. This ends up costing me about $75 after taxes. Which is ~$80."
Take your time.
Oh hecks nah! You're Canadian?! LOL! Man please, I'm not apologizing for that. I was talking about in the United States. Don't blame us for your higher taxes.
Where I live the base Spiderman Remastered game cost $54.25 with tax.And who includes tax when talking about game prices?

I do hope you are right, but I'm not so sure this really tells us much as of now. We're really close to Xmas (when people are more likely to wait for a present), there's no urgency needed to get PS4 games for Xmas (talking parent purchases here), and the enthusiasts who would actually be playing it are most likely looking for PS5 versions anyway. Again, I do hope you're right though. This bodes well for a quick transition into the new generation, people might remember that it didn't take long last time around for PS3 / 360 software sales to plummet.
Do you men Spiderman Miles Morales?
I thought SM remastered was only a part of MM Ultimate..
For Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed the numbers were really lopsided in the PS4 direction with more than twice as many sales.
Miles not fitting the pattern could be for a variety of reasons, but it's clear that the last generation is far from over.
