Wait. As in Godspeed You Black Emperor - East Hastings? Because that sounds ridiculous!Sir Hamish said:That scene and that music was stunning, gave me the chills. Big daddy slaughtering the gangsters in the warehouse to that music from 28 days later was also epic.

Dead said:Just found out that COMIC SPOILER ALERTthe ending of the film is the total opposite of the comic book
Don't know what to think.
I specifically meant theVentrue said:Not really. (Book/Movie spoilers)There are notable changes, obviously. The death of the mob boss is more down to earth, Big Daddy's back story is different and, yes, the love sub-plot turns out totally the other way, which I think is better/funnier. Still, I'd call it a stretch to say that the ending is the total opposite. HG and KA kill the mob boss, other heroes spring up, they go lead normal lives.
Honestly, the business with the bazooka et. al. was fucking awesome, so I didn't mind the change.

Hugely disappointing IMO. I was hoping the movie really played up how much of a loser Dave was, but it's not looking that way.
Costanza said:I think I just liked the comic for totally different reasons than everyone else. I have a feeling I'm gonna be disappointed with this film.
Jibril said:Once again. You'll go in expecting it to be about Dave, but you get Hit-Girl and Big Daddy and completely forget about Dave, leaving you wanting for a sequel that leaves Dave and focuses more on Hit-Girl and Big Daddy. Along with that you'll get some of literally, the best film making in recent years.
I really don't care about Dave anymore. It's all about Hit-Girl and Big Daddy, sort of how everyone loved The Joker in The Dark Knight.

I looked up Aaron Johnson (19years old) on Wiki and saw that he is expecting a kid with his 43 year old wife. I mean, what the fuck.
This was my favourite action scene in the movie.voodooray said:
