BUG FIXES
[*]Mobile friendly links redirect to neogaf.com on desktops correctly
RubxQub said:The lines are starting to blur with ckholer's latest update, but in the end it comes down to the interface.
I imagine Juice ultimately will be able to do more with his app, however ckholer is able to hit all mobile devices, not just the iPhone.
They're both crazy awesome, and they seem to have a healthy relationship in regards to their apps...so we all win!

Version 2.2 now live. Private messages feature still needs to be tested. No guarantees that those work 100% yet.
NEW FEATURES
- Edit Your Posts
- View Recent Subscribed Threads
- Set thread subscription when posting
- View Recent Private Messages
- Palm Pre Support
BUG FIXES
- Posting now respects your default and previous per-thread subscription setting
- Rewrote how private messages are parsed
- Removed green line in favor of showing log in name at bottom
- Mobile friendly links redirect to neogaf.com on desktops correctly
- Cleaned up editing buttons
This might be doable. I'll need to investigate further.dLMN8R said:1) Show your read/not read (new/not new) status based on your account, not the cookies saved in Safari
Hrm. Not really sure about that one.2) Have a "Mark Forums Read" button
Even if it worked for iPhone users (which I doubt), everyone else would just see the letter "y" scattered about. It would get annoying very fast.mrkgoo said:Emoji? A limitation of the forums/web/web app? Can it be implemented? After all, all iPhone 2.2 users can see them (even if they can't make them).

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The copy/paste is system-wide feature. I don't see why you would need to even make support for it.DMeisterJ said:Will the app get copy support when 3.0 is official? You can paste in your replies, but being able to copy someone's post would make it easier to multi-quote people.

Moreover, since this thread is full of Iphone users that should love videogames, would you name me your top 5 of videogame sites (news, reviews, videos...) that have an Iphone version too?
I could suggest Gamespot, Eurogamer, Ign (but just for the review section untill now).
Thank!

LCfiner said:navigate to your post and click the pencil icon at the upper right of it.
Juice said:Heh, if I stole the " icon for MobileGAF, then I'll say ckohler stole the pencil icon, since I had edits in first
Been killing myself writing in super redundant error handling. I could spend a million hours on this thing that no one will appreciate.
Someone love me.

It's a web app, so there's no need for it to be on iTunes.Jax said:Is this app even on Itunes anymore? I don't know anyhow... .
Shacknews has a free iPhone browser in the App Store. It's called Latest Chatty. It was originally coded to browse the comment section and participate in discussion, but in the last couple months it has been expanded into an incredibly impressive full-service Shack app including main site content. It's pretty fantastic.Snowball said:Thanks for your work mate! Really appreciated!

Just tried that twice and it still only brings me to the last page as if the option isn't on. But it is. I don't get it.Sean said:Works fine on my 3G - different hardware but same browser so there should be no difference.
My guess is that you're hitting it too early before the page completed loading all the way so it can't skip down to the bottom since that part wasn't loaded yet.
