anovice, I can't wait to see how many recommendations your app gets in the software thread.
Maybe I should just put it in there now? :lol

The Android version is wicked rough, but working. I hope I can get y'all something, soon.

Also, is there any way in Safari to HOME or END a page? It's a pain in the ass when you have a loooooooooooooong page in any site to scroll to one end of it because you're constantly flicking for up to a minute to get it to the end. Does the iPhone Safari have a hidden HOME and END feature?

Yeah, but you can only press it if you are at the top. If I'm already halfway down, I have no option except to scroll in one direction or the other. Why is there no shake motion to do this, Apple? Shake up for HOME, shake down for END. Sideways for reload. Simple as that. Do it, Apple!_leech_ said:At the top of a thread, to the right of the thread title, there's an arrow pointing down. Press that.

Nothing to get to the bottom? I guess this is good for the GAF app since I can then click the arrow. But it won't help on most other sites. Oh well. If only a double-click went to the bottom._leech_ said:If you tap the status bar (where the time/reception/etc are) it'll take you to the top of the page.

I was going to post about this also.DMeisterJ said:Same glitch. First post of any thread is empty.

Also, I'm testing a new feature exclusive to iPhones and iPod touches. Whenever you use one of these devices, any YouTube URLs should now show up as clickable thumbnails. If the thumbnail is not clickable, you know that YouTube clip is not available to be viewed in the iPhone or iPod, saving you time.

Could you still include the links of the videos that aren't watchable so I can save them to check out later?ckohler said:The first post missing bug should be fixed now. One of the admins must have altered the HTML a little today.

The web app doesn't know if the videos will play or not. It just embeds the video and whatever YouTube displays as the thumbnail indicates if it works or not. Also, the point of disabling images is more about saving bandwidth (when using edge or 3G) than increasing performance.Charred Greyface said:Could you still include the links of the videos that aren't watchable so I can save them to check out later?

Version 2.6 is now live.
NEW FEATURES
- View member's recent posts/threads - When viewing a member's profile, there is now a button to view their posts and threads. This uses GAF's search feature, so you have to wait 60 seconds between lookups.
- Changed the "Log Out" button on main menu to "Your Profile". The Log Out button is now located on your profile page, instead. As with any profile page, can also view your own recent posts/threads there.
- YouTube thumbnails are now displayed on iPhones/iTouch when images are enabled. When images are disabled, it shows the standard link.
I've noticed this and thought it was a Safari feature or something. Should have known better that our own Miles Prower was responsible.ckohler said:[*]YouTube thumbnails are now displayed on iPhones/iTouch when images are enabled. When images are disabled, it shows the standard link.
