Bloody roar keep the one on one beat em up as a multiplayer option only give it a story mode like double dragon meets that mortal kombat scrolling game. Make every character have a different story that alters with the other character decisions have to be made in each level which alters the story and ending.

Wishful thinking i know i will just have to make it when i buy my own game company.
