It's well known how big of a DS fan I am. The more games I keep getting on the platform, the happier I am.

If we're talking about low budget games made in 2D, it makes no difference whether it is on the DS or the 3DS, except that less people can play it on the 3DS. If we're talking about a brand new FF game, maybe.

That episode is completely awesome. Hopefully he will make a return. Ice king is the perfect doofy bad guy, but Lich is 'bad dudes' bad.

With all the crazy ideas Pen has thrown around about a AT game, I'm almost worried this will try to be too conceptually ambitious for its own good, they better be extra careful with the execution here. They totally could've just played it safe and made this Banjo-Kazooie.

Agreed. I have a feeling it would do better on the 3DS. With such a limited library, a popular name like Adventure Time would definitely stand out.

I kind of feel the same. I looked through their games, and I didn't really see anything that stood out as high quality. I'm not really sure why people are excited about their involvement. Although, as long as Pen is in charge I can't really see this going wrong.

This is the first Adventure Time video game that will release on the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system and Nintendo DS™ hand-held system late fall.

In the first licensed Adventure Time video game, Finn and Jake wake up one morning to find their trash stolen by the Ice King. Jake couldn’t care less about half-eaten bananas, crumpled up burrito wrappers, and old chicken diapers – but when they find out the Ice King is using their stolen goods to construct a Garbage Princess, the heroes embark on a fantastical adventure to teach him a lesson! I wouldn't expect any major differences from the 3DS version - this was apparently intended only for DS until very, very recently (Nintendo Power has some kind of preview in their current issue and only mentions the DS version). But widescreen and stereoscopic parallax scrolling should be enough for most people.
