Brettison said:I just got one for like 20 mins, but it was laggy as hell. I mean I was always good FPS wise in that I was always 30 fps + even in the busy spots, and normally in the 40s or 50s with most things maxed or almost maxed out.
Yet the net lag was ridiculous. Clicking on quest givers, firing off spells, watching players move around was all lagtastic. I rerolled to play with some friends, and got to the first town then decided to call it. It was hard to play with that kind of lag.![]()

MrPing1000 said:Maybe I'm missing something but I have a beta key that I applied at the start of July. Only got around to d/l the client now, but it says I don't have access to the game? Can't log into the forums either.
Do the seperate closed beta times, require new keys or something?
koji said:Ah are they that popular? Going from forumposts on Aionsource it didn't seem like there were a lot of them around... Hrumpf, don't really fancy playing an overplayed class...

Which server is GAF on? So I can get in on this Legion Action.Teknoman said:Lemme in the GAF legion!
Seriously though, ready for a legion invite whenever possible. Character name: Teknoman.
Kintaro said:It's a leg fest for me again. I think this GameGuard is causing it. Whatever the reason, it may cost them my purchase if Gameguard is sticking around.

Most likely not, and no.CAW said:Is the account warehouse linked to your account? I mean I know it sounds obvious, but what I mean is: if you have character a on one server and character b on another, can you share the warehouse?
Also, if you're on the same server but different faction, can you still share the warehouse?
me Jojo said:Most likely not, and no.
Also, how many EU GAF-ers are there that are actually interested in a GAF legion?
I am. Most definitely.me Jojo said:Most likely not, and no.

daebo said:this may be a dumb question but will our characters carry over when retail hits? I'm on a different server than the rest of gaf (figures) and i want to make sure I'm on the same server once retail hits. If this carries over, I may reroll. If not, then I'll just keep playing and then make sure I'm on the right server at retail time.
Specifically, characters will be deleted at the end of this beta and at the end of the open beta.KaYotiX said:nothing is carried over
This is the last part of the Elyos beta event showing the Kralls attacking Verteron Citadel, followed by a lvl 39 Balaur elite. The whole event was monitored by a lvl 50 GM Gladiator. There will be at least one more event, taking place tomorrow (Sunday) where both the Asmodians and the Elyos will face off against the Balaur. Where this will take place is still unknown, but our best bet is Eltnen and Morheim
Or Harry Potter...they're from the pirate ship instance.

There're also pirate themed hats and weapons to go with these but I'm tired and frankly disturbed by how the characters look like mutant bastard children between a Shugo and a human being or walk-ons from a Nintendo game.
Here's some of mine:

zelda was the hardest, i encourage someone to try and perfect her since she doesnt look too convincing atm (couldnt find gear that matched either)

In other news, sold all my crafted stuff way too cheap. Blew all my money on enchanting. Chased reds all over morhiem. Fun stuff tonight.

Unknown Soldier said:Enchanting items is crazy hard in this game. I blew a huge wad of cash buying random junk, putting manastones in it, extracting, and then failing enchantment again and again. The worst thing is that a failure lowers the enchantment rank, so even if your success rate is 50% you'll still be at zero or +1 at best. :lol
Halvie said:if the enchantment fails you still have the item?
Gallagher said:Like i heard... the most EU Server are really lag free.
Both clients are actually exactly the same. Just make sure you set your location to Europe in the NCsoft launcher's settings.Cindres said:I'm playing the NA version because it was the one that started downloading by default and it was half way before i realised there was an EU version. I'm gonna download the EU version for the Open Beta.

The orbs are drops i think. You have to gather the iron and the like. And the rest are probably vendor items. Dont forget that the vendors have multiple tabs as well as pages of the stuff they sell.matmanx1 said:Anyone done much crafting yet? I did the first couple of weaponsmithing quests and got the Steel Dagger recipe. The items required to make the recipe I have questions about. Are they all dropped items or are some of them sold at vendors? I've seen the little refinement orb thingies but the other couple of items I have not.
Puncture said:Just play it, like any and all MMO's every class will eventually be the 'overplayed class' at some point in the games life. Not rolling a class you want to play based on its population at release wouldnt be a good idea IMO.
