Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed |OT| No shoes, no shirt, all fanservice!

Thats it I gotta restart cause this is yet another game who's play time counter is full o' crap! Also whats with the camera function? I've taken pics an searched all over for where to view 'em but they're nowhere to be found!

It's not for screenshoting.

You'll use it for some sidequests and the game will let you know of its more important feature as you get further in the game.

Hey Tom.

Does the DLC clothes count for trophies?

It would definitely help me on the El Diablo Fashionisto and Master of the Lower Body ones (I'm only missing those)

To be honest... I don't actually know! That's a really good question. Might be worth posing to Acquire. I'll have to see if I can sneak it into our next PS4 QA email or something. ;)

bad gameplay lol
So I've finally gotten back to the game after the
"Get cake for Nana"
quest made me ragequit. I'm trying the quest again, and...

I got the cake for her, but then she asks me to go get her another cake from maidreamin. So I go there, and...there's nothing about cake? Like, at all? I go in and get the standard maid cafe options, and there's nobody outside to sell me cake like in the first part of the mission.
What the hell am I supposed to do?

EDIT: Never mind. I left the area, came back, and the NPC I needed suddenly loaded into the area. Even though the first time I had been running around the area for several minutes with no sign of her. God, this game is a technical mess.

There should be a Maid standing outside that sells you the cake. She'll have a red background to her name. Make sure you're in the correct location, though, and not one of the other Maid Café.

Good luck!

Edit - It seems you solved it. All is well.

Need help for side-quests (SQs), I hate how "vague" some of them can be.

Ex: There's this side-quest where I need to meet this guy on Junk Street. I know (think?) that they're supposed to be in red except that I cannot find him at all in the area.

Same thing for the very first sister's side-quest where you had to go to a store. The store clerk didn't have a clue about the SQ until I entered/exited the store multiple times to finally stumble into a red NPC who gave me the SQ item.

Any clues on makings the SQs easier?

I normally just stand still for a little while until I saw some NPC spawing to start looking for them

SQ NPC's have piority to spawn, at least

1/2 the time, I wish the game would just take the extra time when loading to load the NPCs instead of the area first, putting you in, then having to wait another 5-10 seconds for the NPCs to appear. I missed a few of them the first time I was looking for them because I looked at the location they were suppose to be, but they weren't loaded in yet, so I just thought I had to look someplace else.

Yeah, anytime I enter an area I stand still for a good 10 seconds or so for everything to load and then proceed on my way. I'm definitely looking forward to the faster loading times on the PS4 version.

Yay Golden Boy! Good call indeed. ;)

Also:

Not sure if this was answered, but why are my feet black after I completed the game?

...I'm... not sure at all. Maybe they're tired from all that walking? ;)

Very weird, though. Are you able to take a screenshot?

I just had a glitch where the music wouldn't stop playing from scene to scene. I had to completely exit the game. It was kinda weird having battle music during the opening.

Weird glitch. I just fought against one of the idol groups and every single one of them was bald.

All right, got my platinum.

Thanks for publishing the game, Xseed. The game doesn't really reach the full potencial of it's idea, but I enjoyed my time with it.

Really hope they can deliver in a future sequel (If that'll ever happen)

anyone had this game crashing? it's been crashing for me frequently lately. i'm on NG+ (casual, completed shizuku gamer first) and while doing the cake side mission, it's crashing every battle afterwards. :-/

Make sure your inventory isn't full. While you can carry A LOT of items, if it reaches a certain limit the game has a tendency to crash.

Maybe try selling/fusing some of your items and see if that fixes the problem.

Proudly debt free. If you need a couple bucks, just ask.
Planning on picking this game up soon.

Are there thongs in it?

Game crashes when you attempt to strip people with the inventory full.

You'll do better selling some equipment

Was hoping beating it on otaku difficulty would give me the trophy for that and beating it on gamer but it just gave the otaku one.

I just spent half an hour running around in circles to clear the second idol quest. My left hand is starting to hurt.

Does anyone have of a more effective way of clearing this? I kept running to make sure they don't end up surrounding me and just countered single attacks.

I never had any problems with this mission, but it is long.

My strategy was just to whack a whole bunch of them at once with a good ranged weapon, and then preform a chain strip. Rinse & repeat.

iDOL diS@STER was definitely an interesting side quest.

I'm a little glad it was just a battle with reinforcements and not what I originally thought was having 48 idols already there to combo you to nakedness.

I probably have to start using a longer ranged weapon then. I've been whacking things with a High Quality Wooden Sword, but that put me a little too close to these guys than I liked.

Finally did clear the mission though.

Can the game even handle 48 of them swarming at once? Would've been interesting.

Not sure if it was my vita or the game but as soon as I finished Rin's route the game crashed. This saddens me. Also surprised how much I like Rin. I really hate tsunderes <_<

Those are Sakaguchi's socks. They come with his underwear.

I'll try changing it, thanks!

Can you get underwear from all of the bosses? (God, that's so weird to say).
It's so satisfying (and kinky) to wear the bosses' underwear after you defeat them.

And yes, every boss has underwear you can obtain. If they have a strip portrait, then everything you strip from them will be unique.

Hah, absorb their power their their undies.

I too would like my review considered for the OP. Thanks!

It's weird. When I talk to people about this game, I say it's addicting and fun; so much so that I'm platinuming it and I never do that. I'm just looking for more excuses to play it. Yet I can look at it objectively with it's issuses and see that it is certainly around the 6s or 7s that it's getting in reviews. And sorta understand it. But I still love it and am having so much fun playing it. It's like it's better than the sum of it's parts.

The only thing that bothers me about all these reviews I'm reading is any dislike of the premise/characters/plot/and ESPECIALLY the dialogue. None of these are even close to bad. This has some of THE BEST voice acting and localization I've seen in forever. Every complaint I have is on the technical/graphical end.

I feel like every jRPG/game I like I have to take the average review scores and add a point or two to get an actual accurate one.

Also, you haven't lived til you've put Shion in an Innocent Lolita Dress set with the Route 893 walking animation. I laughed the entirety of her route

The English VO was good; I mentioned that in my review and I even stuck with it for the whole game. Mine was scored 7.5/10, between good and great.

If the the game ran smoother, the content was expanded upon (make it even more balanced in regards to male fanservice), and the scope was widened a bit, this game would be a monster.

I understand the middling reviews because the game certainly has issues, but the core gameplay is so damn addicting and satisfying, I had a blast the entire time. I really hope the series continues and refines the the core concept and execution.

Yeah, I just read your review a bit after my post (along with the other posted one). Both were very good reviews and accurate. 7.5/10 is a score I can fully agree with and get behind.

I'm on my 2nd run and I still haven't figured out how to upgrade a partner's default equipment (if that's actually a possibility). Can anybody help? I can unequip them and give them other stuff to wear but I can't upgrade character specific stuff like Shizuku's umbrella. It just won't show up in the fuse items list.

Zonic

Did you unequip them & have them be in your inventory? That's the only way to upgrade clothing & weapons for your partner. You can then give them back to your partner once you upgrade them to a desired level.
