Why would God be watching a movie in a theatre with you, anyway? Can't he watch whatever he wants whenever and however he chooses? I mean, examining that topic is important, of course. And it's something that many people go through, and there's nothing wrong with that. But calling it "delicious" just sounds wrong.
Not as overtly, but there were a few lines in the original Gaston song that went over my head back then that make me suspicious that was the case.

Exactly. I'm from Alabama as well. Though I admit, I'm guilty of hating this state and the majority of people in it. Being a liberal atheist here is hard.
On topic, I heard this story last night. To me it's textbook censorship, but no, to people here it's okay because "muh religious freedoms". I about got into a shouting match with my roommate over it.

It's a private company that can choose what they want to show to people. And that's fine really. Like, they're not refusing to serve a gay person. They just don't wanna show certain content.

From California myself. So in southern areas I get that weird "well, you're from callliforrnia..so..." ( I assume im to fill in the rest with something gay/free thinking/liberal..etc..) I mean the state is progressive, as it's laws indicate. Im from here. Surely people know there are exceptions to things generally spoken?

Disney should do what they can to fuck this company out of all their releases and other distributors should follow suit and present an united front against this bigotry.
Why would you wanna watch a movie with God or Jesus? All they would do is just spoil the movie cause they are all-knowing, you'd stop taking them along after 2-3 shows.
