What about chinese supremacists and arabs?
I mean, everyone except for sub-saharan africans has neaderthal genes in them... a large part of african americans probably got neanderthal genes in them too.
 
So humans could mate with Neanderthals, and yet they were two different species? I thought anything you could breed with had to be the same species.

I kind of feel like this study is moot in a way. Like I'm Jamaican and look black but my family has had white and Chinese intermingling before getting to me so who the fuck is really a pureblood African anyway?

You can still learn proficiently without being able to speak all that well. Hell maybe they had a way to communicate with each other, but to primitive humans it just sounded like some high pitch nonsense.

Actually they probably love this finding, as is shows there is a greater genetic difference than previously thought, and they'll probably point to the fact that neanderthals were stronger and more robust than modern humans in pretty much every way. But ignorant assholes are always going to look for the evidence of themselves being superior, so what are you gonna do?
 
Neanderthals possessed the gene for language and had sophisticated music, art and tool craftsmanship skills, so they must have not been all that unattractive to modern humans at the time.

Sub Saharan Africans have the greatest genetic diversity of any human population from simply existing the longest. But this isn't a contest.

Really goes to show that our definition of "species" is almost as arbitrary as our definition of race.

Your primary school teacher probably had a poor science background, because the main tenant of evolution is that it is a branching process. homo sapiens and neanderthals evolved concurrently as offshoots of homo erectus, which in turn was an offshoot of some other species. Hence the tree of live. Common ancestor, branching evolutionary paths from that ancestor. Humans and fruit flies are equally as "evolved". Both are the product of 3+ billion years of evolution on earth.

Yeah, I'm not saying they weren't intelligent, they certainly weren't the stereotypical cavemen anyway. I'm just saying it's hard to judge intellect from the fossil record, because there are lots of variable there.

North africans are basically south italians from their genetic makeup. No relation to sub saharan africa. People from spain are celts mixed with arabs.

Incorrect. Genetic studies show that there was very little mixing during the muslim era, and only a tiny fraction of the invaders were from the Middle East, most of them coming from Africa.

Multiculturalism advocates love to paint the Muslim period of Spain as some kind of religious/racial heaven, but in reality it was heavily segregated and the population hated the guts of the neighbour.

Also, the definition of species is not arbitrary. Just because we contain traces of the neanderthal genome doesn't mean we are less Homo sapiens than black people.

Well... the homo sapiens was first "invented" to say so with the average caucasian in mind, back when racial science was the new hotness people even debated if black people are part of homo sapiens or another sub-species.
The neanderthaler came into the picture much later but as politically incorrect it may sound it could be a part of the reason for that racial confusion.

Sorry , I was wrong about Spain , thanks for correcting me . However , I'm fairly sure that invaders from the middle east mixed a lot in all of northern Africa .
