Allowing women to drive in Saudi Arabia would mean no more virgins and an increase in homosexuality, according to academics at Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, Majlis al-Ifta' al-A'ala, it has been reported in the Telegraph.

More pornography would be used if women were allowed on the roads and rates of prostitution and divorce would alo rise, the report stated.

Produced in conjunction with Kamal Subhi, a former professor at the King Fahd University, the study into repealing the ban predicted that there would be no more virgins left in the Arab kingdom in 10 years.

Wasn't there an article about Saudi Arabia, where it mentions that same sex relationships between Saudi men happen a lot more often than people would think? That the fact that sexes were so segregated was a probable cause for it, and how interesting it was that the guys participating never considered themselves gay at all (well at least the giver). I think the article was called Kingdom in the Closet.

You know .... thinking about you can kinda understand where this professor wants ....

He is basicaly saying that if they allow women to drive it would be the begining of the ocidentalization of Saudi Arabia.
What "no more virgins and an increase in homosexuality" means is "it will become equal to the west where women have rights"


I still makes me mad at him at the "I want to do a double flying kick and then burn himself and then wait and then burn him again because death is being too good" level of being mad, but at least the dude don't sound so crazy.
I kinda "liked" him more when I saw him as crazy =/

No. The two big points of religion is controlling people and promoting heterosexual pairings to increase the human population. People were pretty philosophical before religion. The problems prior to modern religions are that people were way more violent before religion. And some cultures valued the relationships between two people of the same sex more than marriage. Which wasn't good since there were more deaths during birth back then.
