Actually....gamestops do get sometimes system wide rebalances at certain points if a particular event has a specific announcement tied to retail purposes.

In other words, Gamestop does procure information occasionally about unreleased products for pricing and ordering purposes, just not shared with people outside of core staff at a particular store.

It'll likely be posted today. The video game stuff has never been a "no photos or videos" sort of deal and this will be the same.

big hero 6 gameplay reveal, some story bits and now in development.

Real talk, i think a date is too optimistic but i think a time frame at the end of the trailer is realistic, i cod see it saying fall 2018 at the end of it withh the game hitting that september. Also calling it now, there will be a starwars world, maybe jakku with an imperial star destroyer above it, no marvel world, but either spiderman or rocket raccoon will be summons and there will be a marvel themed keyblade
 
Anyone hoping for grouped world's? I think with the open world style places, they could easily Frozen and Brave areas in the Tangled World or a Star Wars world with portals going from current trilogy areas to original trilogy areas and prequel trilogy areas? Would be a way to fit in more content without having to travel through lots of Gummy Ship paths.

i'm going to temper my expectations to a new disney world and that's it; do not expect news of epic "megatons" from events not E3, TGS, or one of Square-Enix's events.
 
It's probably too much to expect whoever starts a thread about the new world doesn't put it in the title?

Ugh who am I kidding even if it's not, with it coming (hopefully) 2019 I'll probably find out.
 
If you expecting this game to come out 2018 it's not happening. If it does tho it probably going to turn into an episodic model.

Which would include managers. The regional people would be aware but not managers at a particular store. But I'll refine my statement, gamestops do not ever get info about unreleased AAA square enix games.

Was in the anniversary art for Union X awhile back, Nomura said in a interview they were their new designs/costumes for them in 3 IIRC. (there was one for Kairi aswell)

Well if you take the time to look back at my comment again, first, I never said any info that would be considered newsworthy. I even expressed that in my post.

Second, all I said was that they began opening preorders for they game yesterday. Nowhere does that mean that GameStop knows something that we don't. Only that the began taking preorders. Probably due to the hype that is surrounding the fact that we are getting more news than before.

Third, the manager didn't divulge any secret details or do any winks, he is excited because he loves Kingdom Hearts and has been waiting for so long to get more info that he couldn't contain his excitement.

Fourth, the release year is obviously a guess. The manager himself said so. He said that the only reason that GameStop didn't put a 2018 date was because they didn't want gamers angry at them for saying 2018 and then Square Enix announces a 2019 date. So it was a better safe than sorry thing. Is he right? I don't know. I don't work at GameStop but it makes sense.

So yeah unlike your uncle the manager was all about hype. Not rumors.

That tweet it's just to create expectations towards the new world.
