Almost 1 week away from the new KH3 trailer. What are you expecting?

I have really hard time taking anything Famitsu says seriously doe lol.

Like what would even warrant that reaction? KH3 releases this fall? Song of the South world?

They way they react seens like the game is releasing this year, but this is surely not the case and as you Said, it's famitsu, they're ovearrecting.

So given their reaction and the fact that they are Famitsu, I'm expecting the release window for 2018 and maybe the reveal of others playable characters besides Sora.

Or maybe it's a really unexpected world like Marvel or Star Wars.
 
I would be pumped but I never played a KH game before and reading some of the story bits people throw around I'd rather not.

Any chances III doesn't build on all these convoluted sheningans?
 
Was just hoping to see the Big Hero 6 world, but maybe we'll hear the new opening as well? He's really hyping this one up.
 
Nomura seems to keep saying that fans will be "surprised" regarding the new trailer, so it's quite interesting. I don't think what Nomura/famitsu hyped is anything to do with release date, but more about the content of the game itself. Could be some surprise world like Marvel/Star Wars indeed.
 
LMAO. Seems it was a bit of overreaction/misunderstanding from the attendant. What Nomura actually said seems like

At the noon concert: "I don't want to raise the hurdle too high, but in 7 days you will be able to get new info on KH3"

After that at the night concert: "The hurdle was raised too high. The news is just normal news"

I think this has more to do with people expecting a release date, a new prologue demo or things like that. There's a lot of fans thinking that they are going to announce a 2017 release date because of the Famitsu comments and the hype building lol

I still think that the new world reveal is going to be something fans have been requesting for quite some time or based on some famous Disney movie and that is going to be the exciting news. No release date, no Kairi ground zeroes, no Utada song, etc.

Yeah this is what I feel. I see on the internet some unrealistic expectations floating around like a precise release date and day-1 demo like the platinum demo from FFXV or something.
I just expect to see a cool trailer with a world fans are excited about.
 
I expect nothing. Kingdom Hearts trailers in recent years have just been weird mishmashes of out of context cutscenes followed by out of context gameplay followed by an additional out of context cutscene. Don't like em at all.
 
People need to calm down, just a story trailer showing big hero 6.

I don't want to see whining about no release date, if you do this to yourself you are a fool.

To be completely honest I'm more interested in seeing how BH6 world is structured compared to stuff like Frozen or Toy Story where it's kinda obvious.

Like how are they going to adapt a big city.

I am a bit worried about flying. I don't have a fond memory of flying in Peter pan world in KH1.
 
The new trailer should have all of the confirmed Disney worlds: Big Hero 6, Tangled, Olympus, the new World and maybe more not revealed yet.

I mean, it's a Disney fan event, maybe they will finally realize that to hype up the attending people they should show tons of Disney stuff in a KH trailer.

The Incredibles or Toy Story

Including one or the other will also promote hype for the upcoming sequels for me.
Plus, I absolutely love them.

I just want to see Sora, Donald and Goofy in toy form. Don't disappoint Nomura.

Big Hero 6 makes Incredibles... incredibly unlikely IMO.

Toy Story however I feel is a lock.

It's hilarious when people who haven't played a single game in this series make statements like this. No shit you don't get anything people are talking about here.

Like Jesus Christ, people are looking forward to KH3 so much because it's going to be the game that finally answers all of the convoluted shenanigans people are talking about here. Why wouldn't it be part of it considering this is the TENTH game in a long running series?

Maybe try actually playing the games first before complaining about something.

Plenty of people who played and like the games still think the story is really really fucking bad, doesn't matter if they kept up with all the games, the amount of people who would praise the overall story isn't very high at all. And DDD managed to confuse and infuriate fans who kept up with everything. Maybe stop defending a horrendously poorly told story.

The Incredibles would be super cool but it's definitely too close in subject to Big Hero 6 to be included I think. I do think Star Wars is a possible candidate using Rey as the other party member

DDD was good vecause it brought Ansem and Xenmas back :D all the Xehanorts together

There's a difference between people who have actually played the games and have an informed opinion on the series compared to someone who's entire knowledge of Kingdom Hearts consists of reading GAF posts.

I didn't even defend the story in that post and even if I did it doesn't change anything because this may surprise you, but some of us actually like it for better or worse, and we know that because we actually play the games.
