Almost 1 week away from the new KH3 trailer. What are you expecting?

Wishful thinking for a trailer though(but better be in the game.)


Honestly im feeling Toy Story as one of the next big world reveals.

it will be like 12 years later that hint needs to be paid off.
Honestly im worried Squall and crew will all be sidelined(besides Cloud obviously ugh.)

Just a few years ago I thought she was like 1000% happening, feels much less so now.
I wouldn't expect/request much of Rinoa regardless, just part of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee and with Squall.

The KH3 E3 confirmed that a new trailer and a new world reveal will take place during the showcase. But since Nomura is attending, it's possible that more info it's shared.
I don't want to focus to much on the next thing I'm about to say, but apparently during the E3 trailer reveal that took place in one of those kh concerts, Nomura said that at D23 they'll share "Final information" for KH3. Keep in mind he was translated, so that could have been a mistake from the one that did it.

So what should we expect.

- Will the trailer have a bigger length that what has been posted?
- Will it be focused on story?
- What new world will be reveal?
- Should we expect any other unknown returning worlds being reveal?
- Are we going to have a release window (or date) for the game?

I can see it happening. Roy Conli was producer on it as well as the two other new worlds they've introduced - Tangled and Big Hero 6. Wouldn't be surprised if we got yet another video reveal of him announcing it's inclusion in KH3 just like the previous reveals.

As for Dream Eaters I think they were confirmed to be in the game in some way. They'll probably put in Chirithy to give the game more connections to the mobile game.

It wouldn't be my first choice. Toy Story is at the top of my wishlist and has been there since I beat Kingdom Hearts 1 over a decade ago.
 
Hair shading coming along nicely.
Considering another engine change.
Script nearly finished, full production likely to begin within the next year or two.

Ok, thanks, I appreciate the clarification. It was mentioned in KH3's Wikipedia article but it didn't include the full context of the quote.
 
I think it's a bit too soon for the new main song to be revealed, I assume they might want to wait until release year so they can put it on iTunes, promote it and stuff, just like it was done with the Florence songs and other singer collaborations in games and movies.

I'm not even expecting a new song, I expect Sanctuary remixed with Passion or something like that lol
 
I'm guessing Pixar...Cars.

You'll be transformed into a car and will race in circles. No real story additions to this world, more of a Hercules Colosseum thing.
 
I honestly forgot about it coming up so soon.

I want, more than anything in this world, an Atlantis level. Not Atlantica, Atlantis.

I want to run around with Kida and Sweet, riding on the crystal powered speeders.
 
Disney characters.
Random Final Fantasy 7-8 reject characters.
So many goddamn belts and zippers.
Star Wars?
Complete confusion over what is going on in the story.
No release date.

Hopefully some cool music that proceeds to get stuck in my head for the next couple of years.

All I know is I only played

KH1 - PS2
KH:CoM - GBA
KH2 - PS2

KH2 was....2006? 11-12 years means I've forgotten basically everything. I haven't played the other games. So I am going to be sorely behind in terms of understanding the story or what the hell is going on as apparently there is a meme out there that everyone is apparently Ansem or something.....which I hear is true.

Maybe once we get an actual release date and get closer someone will make a video that explains the story in some tangible and cohesive way that makes sense to those of us who couldn't be bothered to play 10 other spin-offs.

None of the games in this series are spinoffs. You don't even know who Xehanort is and that's the guy the saga is named after.

I hope Nomura makes a trailer that confuses people who haven't played since KH2. Bring on the Keyblade War, Real Organization XIII and Foretellers madness.

I honestly do think we will get a brand new song for KH3 rather than another hikari/passion remix

The amount of complaining about Roxas coming back last month was insane, especially since we had four games establish that he is his own person and needs to be saved.

Because it's flaking out on his arc in 2 and KH has a very real problem with people not staying gone even and especially when it makes the narrative and character arcs worse. The lack of actual consequences by turning Sora into a Jesus figure that can save people who literally don't exist is a blight on the franchise.

I don't think that was exclusively from ppl not following the story I'm all caught up and I don't want it to happen regardless of what Sora wants

I was surprised by this fact too. BBS secret ending hinted at Sora saving Xion, Roxas, Axel, Terra, Aqua and Ventus. (Not sure about Naminé)

Or they could have just left the character alone after KH2 and Days. KH2 already has an ending for him.
 
I'm expecting the new world to be tropical in nature. Most likely either Moana or a new Lilo and Stitch world that takes place in Hawaii.

I'm also hoping we get to see some footage of the Big Hero 6 world that they announced a while ago.

They just rereleased the games on PS4 this year. Play them!

What am I expecting? The City of Heroes (a.k.a Marvel).
Either that or The Outer Rim (Star Wars).

It's probably just gonna be a lightsaber that expands a bit to look like a key tho.
