@OP, why don't you look for an Xperia? The new Xperia T has better benchmark scores than the GS3, has a 4,6" screen and a lot better camera. If you want an Android, reconsider your choices.

We're too busy instagramming and playing games to come up with anything else.If 40 grams over an iPhone 4S is the only thing left that Apple apologists can come up with to make their case, I fear for the future of Apple.
Android has Launcher 7, yeah boiiii
A microsoft manufactured windows phone would be the shit. The build quality of the surface looks amazing, if they can make a phone using magnesium like the surface that would be great.
im not sure if this is a "it has launcher 7 so windows phone is obsolete" post, or a mocking if this thinking.
because launcher 7 is an atrocity
Highest DPI
Fastest Screen Refresh
Only Screen that works with gloves,
Best Camera on any current smartphone for videos AND pictures
NFC
Wireless Charging
Best visibility in sunlight (according to nokia)
Best audio-recording
Then Windows Phone 8 itself:
Well over 100.000 apps in the store from the get go
Highly customizable with livetile size choice and loads of accent colors
"Lenses" for best camera customization
"True" Offline Maps and Navigation without caching the data before
Skydrive and Windows ID integration for instant access to everything from every - Windows 8 and Windows phone 8 device
And everything that made Windows Phone 7 great.
Im pretty ignorant about WP, mainly afraid about App support, but damn the Lumia is making me investigate more about it.
Good God that is a tablet not a phone...

I'm a happy iPhone 4S user. I like iOS, and I like the design of the iPhone 4/4S.
However, the best looking phones out there are the Nokia ones right now. Really sexy handsets. It's just a shame about the OS. If the Lumia phones had Android on them, I'd sell my 4S in a flash. Seriously. I like iOS and I like Android, but I really can't stand Windows Phone. The UI is hideous, last time I was researching one (back when the Lumia 800 was new) I was told that you're tied into MS's bullshit at the OS level, even Bing. I don't like Xbox LIVE, so the gaming functionality is completely worthless to me. And then there's the fact that users of WP7 are screwed out of WP8, and users upgrading their handsets can't bring their WP7 apps and such to WP8 phones.
In general I just dislike Microsoft stuff. I may come across as broadly dismissive, but most of it is trash. I only use Windows 7 because gaming on Linux isn't so hot, but there's more choice in mobile so any handset plagued by their user experience is a big no for me.
Huh? There is no FB app on Windows Phone, the service completely integrates into the OS and thus is faster than anything iOS can do.
That's false.
Windows Phone 8 can run Windows Phone 7 applications, obviously the opposite isn't true.

I'm with you dude. And it all started with the camera.
I personally think switching ecosystems isn't even all that hard anymore. Most of your information is in the cloud anyway. I bought a lot of music on iTunes for my iPod Touch, it's all on my Lumia now. And the amount of paid apps that I use is ridiculously small.
Of course YMMV. But I think a lot of people overstate the difficulties, if you didn't buy like 50 apps.
Basically, this. But speaking more generally, they all sort of suck. I praise WP8 for metro and rethinking the game a bit, but too bad it's visually lackluster.Jailbroken iPhone, best of both worlds.
My hands are big enough for the 920, doesn't mean I'd prefer having such a brick in my pockets or my hands. %50 the population is women and they have smaller hands as well. Are you 10? Or do you just have tiny hands?

If I could put the butteryness of pure jelly bean into a 920. OH GOD
biggest grip as someone who's exclusively used iphones is the sound quality on my galaxy nexus . The audio chip blows. Wolfson chip or bust next round, I don't like my bass rolled off and compressed to hell and it's the only negative that stands out to me besides the fact that the 920 and the new iphone build quality are leaps and bounds above anything Samsung has to offer.
The fact that apps for Windows 8 RT can be run on Windows Phone 8 phones makes me giddy. I'm sure there will be a ton of high-visibility, high quality apps that will be "exclusive" to Windows Phone down the line. The fact that I can use those apps and my account is synced between my Xbox, Tablet, laptop, Desktop, and whatever else MS pushes out as well as my phone is a big winner. I'm sure devs will see that and will descend upon the RT app market like bees to their queen.
Android's customization and open endedness pretty much makes sure I'll keep an Android device (Not necessarily my main phone) for a very, very long time, however. It takes years to build these ecosystems, and I know Microsofts won't be fully steamrolling for a while. I mean, look at their Xbox Live integration. XBL runs better on my Galaxy S3 than my Venue Pro.
