Quick question. Meebo or eBuddy? Thanks.
Secondapps works great on my Droid.joesmokey said:I'm trying to get used to Handcent. How do you save a MMS picture, I can't figure it out
Also, is secondapps fubared on all Android phones or just the Incredible?
Hey, just wanted to let you know I am featuring your app tomorrow on my daily Android App column. I'll link you when it goes live if you wish.BigFwoosh said:If any of you fine folks use a car dock, I just released my Custom Car Home app on the market. It's loads better than the stock Car Home app, I swear, and it's free too! I made it mainly because I wanted to be able to use Pandora from Car Home more easily. If anyone is interested, here's a link: market://search?q=pname:com.bigfwoosh.customcarhome

Works perfectly fine on my Incredible. I haven't tried posting with it, though.joesmokey said:Also, is secondapps fubared on all Android phones or just the Incredible?
Feep said:Finally got the server for Virtual Walkie Talkie up and running. I had to modify DOS' internal PATH environmental variable so it could properly run a batch file with the "java" command.
Totally worth it, IMO. Once you set up a server, you can give the IP out to anyone with an Android phone and have Push-To-Talk whenever you want. My friend and I were using it all today to much success = D
Dude, you are awesome. Please let me know when it's up!thewesker said:Hey, just wanted to let you know I am featuring your app tomorrow on my daily Android App column. I'll link you when it goes live if you wish.![]()

nocode said:I sent some feedback to the developers of the MLB app complaining about no live streaming video (like the iphone version) and got this as a response:
"Thank you for your inquiry.
The BlackBerry and Android versions of the application do not currently support the Live MLB.TV streaming because these devices do not support the IETF HTTP live streaming specification for adaptive bit rate streaming that MLB.com uses to provide game video. As devices incorporate support, the feature sets will come into line."
I figured that someone here would know more about this, and what the odds are of Android phones, specifically the Droid, of getting this feature? Is it impossible, or just difficult? Whats the deal?

Thanks. I downloaded ebuddy. Works great.pxleyes said:ebuddy imo.

Also, I put a donate version up on the market as well in case anyone feels like donating at some point. It's got the same features as the free one, except it comes with even more of my undying gratitude. I think I may be close to having a Google Navigation shortcut in the app as well.

It looks great man, a lot nicer than Car Dock on the market. But to remove an app and add another on in it's position you have to delete all the others that come after it? It's crazy! I'm sure you know this right? Leave some blank space after we delete a shortcut so we can long-touch and add an app to the space.BigFwoosh said:You are my new best friend. Thanks for the awesome writeup! Nice site too, bookmarked.
I'm hoping to have a new version out tonight with a Google Navigation shortcut. Needs a little more testing, but I think I've got it.
Yeah, the way it works now is a but of a pain because if you want to add an app to the bottom row, the top row has to be full. I'm going to work on improving this in the future. I hope to put some kind of drag and drop functionality in there, but for now I'll probably let the user choose which row to add to or something. Thanks for the feedback!skybaby said:It looks great man, a lot nicer than Car Dock on the market. Otherwise this will be my main dock app for now!
Edit: I just realized you can Set app after long-touching haha! Awesome![]()

It still has them, but I have to go through each league to get them to show up on the widget. Anyone have a solution?
eznark said:It happens everytime I restart my phone, ever since I installed it. Fucking annoying
Just use SportsTap.prodystopian said:Damn, that's right, I restarted this morning. Thanks.
I'll post up if I can find an easier way to do refresh them.

Bartender. Or Bar Tender. Not sure.Zozz said:Its beta release only. You can find the .apk online, just google it and install it through the sd card.
Anyone know of an app that lets you apps on the notification bar? I would like to switch faster between apps and having apps readily accessible through the notification bar seems like a great shortcut.
Wow this looks pretty cool! I'm gonna tryjonnybryce said:Bartender. Or Bar Tender. Not sure.

Yeah, I think its weird that ongoing goes above notifications. I have statustoggle for one click wifi, and gesture search bar for launching gesture search (easiest way to search, especially on a droid when I don't wanna slide out the keyboard to type a letter or two...plus its just damn cool). So its only two and doesn't take much space. I like statusnotes and use them often for reminders, and luckily, those go in the notification section where it belongs.SimleuqiR said:Some people complain that the notifications should be above this custom menu. Other than that, it looks awesome. I think I will buy it this weekend and give it a try.
Android is the king of customization. There is always something new you can do with this OS :lol

There are some other cool notification pane add ons, I made a post about it on reddit a couple weeks ago, reddit is being slow so I can't link now but there's a lot you can add to there.
I think its too long to post but here, reddit is loading for me again.SimleuqiR said:Please dupe the post here, if possible.

I don't know if a separate app could do that, but I just suggested it to the xScope dev in this thread:RJNavarrete said:Any app to add the browser to the notification/status bar? Id love to be using some other app then just sliding the bar down and clicking on "Browsing: NeoGAF (off-topic)" or whatever.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Do wish you could hide the icon in Bartender, though... plus it only says "Browser" and not the page you're viewing, but maybe I'm asking for too much.jonnybryce said:Can't the apps already being discussed two posts above yours do just this?
:lolskybaby said:edit2: this has a funny outcome, next official twitter app version is 1.0.coggy9qikportfixedIscrewup :lol
When I add a site to Bar Tender it lists the name of the site fine?RJNavarrete said:You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Do wish you could hide the icon in Bartender, though... plus it only says "Browser" and not the page you're viewing, but maybe I'm asking for too much.
