Yeah, I feel the same way. One of these days I just need to go through and delete all the music I never feel like listening to ever again. Way too much crap.jonnybryce said:The world of carrying every file locally on you because you can doesn't exist yet. Atleast Android has a lot of cloud stuff to ease storage problems, from Picasa to upcoming music streaming. Sucks for the user like you, I only have 13 gbs of music and probably only listen and care about 5 or 6 out of that.
All of it. Period.Salaadin said:but how much of that do you really, really want to have on you at all times?

Is that Frodo's ring?! :lol
SDHC only goes up to 32GB. I can't imagine needing that much space on my phone. 0_0Jtwo said:All of it. Period.
I know it's kind of outrageous. I'm well aware it's impossible.
The only reason I brought it up is because MicroSD seems to be evolving MUCH slower than a certain competing device that doubles it's storage capacity every year.
Now that may slow down too, who knows. But I'd be willing to bet that in june they'll be offering a phone with 64gigs of storage and I don't see that happening on Android devices for a long time. The Droid isn't even capatible with a theoretical 64gig card, is it?
Yes sir, good eye. My wedding ring is from LOTR. :0CrayzeeCarl said:Is that Frodo's ring?! :lol

Don't forget, they announced at IO yesterday that they are planning to support streaming from our home pc to our android phones.Jtwo said:Is anyone else feeling really constrained by the storage space offered on SD cards?
My Droid came with a 16gig card, and with all the photos and videos I take, theres barely enough for a suitable music collection. I can only have like 8 gigs of music give or take. And I have a shitton of podcast subscriptions. It really sucks.
I know there are 32gig cards but they are outrageously expensive. It's kinda stupid actually... I know for a fact I could easily max out 32gigs and quite possibly even 64gigs.
I just see it becoming a problem in the near future. My phone is usually my "homebase" so I don't like to delete pictures or video or really anything off of it to free up space. And it seems like there is a ceiling on how big microsd cards can actually get.
This works awesome for the emulators!VanMardigan said:It's called.......wait for it.......WiiMote Controller.

BREAKING: Android 2.2 Froyo OTA Now Available For The Nexus One!
Effective immediately, Google has started the rollout process of Froyo to the Nexus One. Go to your devices settings and have it check for updates there is a chance that you can download it right now.
MG Siegler of TechCrunch has performed the update and snapped the photos below.
At the Google I/O conference, the only answer I could get from Android developers regarding Froyo release to the N1 was "soon". However, they hinted that it would *really* soon, and so I was very skeptical of baseless updates like this one claiming a June release date without a source to back it up.
So how many of you is the update available to? How must faster does it feel?

Update 2: Count us among the lucky few who just received the OTA Froyo update, to our original T-Mobile-based device.
Nonsense. The respected tech blogs have it. I'm wondering if only the review phones are receiving it.Mecha_Infantry said:Looks like the official word from Google Help forums is that this update still isn't available
