That's Aya Sato and Bambi (AyaBambi). They're a dance duo who're also a couple.

Surprised Japan is cool with promoting a gay couple, that's awesome. They look awesome in this fashion film!

As a part of the MOVEment project, created by AnOther Magazine in collaboration with Sadler's Wells, AyaBambi were featured in one of the fashion films directed by seven standout contemporary directors, and featuring seven bespoke created collections by leading fashion designers. Clad in head-to-toe Hussein Chalayan, the couple collaborated with FKA twigs’ choreographer Ryan Heffington to create fluid, hyper-synchronised shapes against a white background, soundtracked by straightforward electronic beats. “The clothes and the movie are both very simple and deep, which we love,” say the couple, arguing that you don’t need to be in gym gear to dance to your best ability – “sometimes the form of the clothes is more important than the freedom or beauty of the physical body.”

Common social stereotypes doesn't mean there aren't very public figures like that, includibg politicians and other people in entertainment. Homophobia isn't malicious in Japan like elsewhere for the most part, just skeptical.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
Japan already sweeping Bleach under the rug to be forgotten.

Just watched the Japanese part of the ceremony, doesn't surprise me in the slightlest they really want to get the Nintendo land at Universal open just before the Olympics.
Can't really wait for their opening ceremony if the closing was a taste of it. Spain, France and Italy are sure going to love it (old those old anime refereces), not so sure about the rest of the world lol

Doraemon as ambassador is great. I would even make him the mascot and be done with it.

Anyway the video presentation was magnificent, music and visuals, and I freaking love the simple font they've used for the logo, clean and modern.

Reminder that Captain Tsubasa is so big in Italy that they have done this:

These are Serie A players (Manolo Gabbiadini, Juan Iturbe and Mattia Perin) that are mimicking this

Its fun how huge Captain Tsubasa is Italy and Spain. Of course most people are accostumed here with their Italian (Holly e Benji) and Spainish (Oliver y Benji) names.

What is funny is that spain used the Lupin The Third italian opening for the Captain Tsubasa spanish one lol

NBC is going to be so confused and out of touch covering these Olympics if there is a lot of anime and video game stuff lol.
