they have their slow trickle of N64 games, and they most likely were the ones deciding the launch day based on where they had an open slot for a new N64 game for NSO

The original is returning to N64 online with Nintendo Online.


Xbox is getting a HD up port with better visuals, framerate, dual stick controls. Etc. But NO Online.

Both have pluses and minuses. It is a real shame. All parties could not have agreed to work together and get the remaster on all systems with cross play.

What's there to see? It's still just Goldeneye 64. Unfortunately, they're not releasing the remake that was finished many years ago.

I guess there is online play, but only for the Switch version.
