That phone will not last 10 hours. When companies do those tests for battery life they do it with nothing on, no screen, no apps in the background, no mail, nothing. It's not even remotely similar to the usage that people will get in the real world.

Read some reviews of previous iphones. Reviewers put the phone through normal use and the numbers are usually pretty close to reality.

New interface. Everything is thin in iOS 7, with the option of making text larger/smaller and bold. It was actually thinner in beta 1, but people complained. I liked it when it was ultra-thin.
