April PS+ Games Announced (Never Alone, Killzone Mercenary, Dishonored)

You can make a backup of your current memory card to a PC, Mac or a PS3. Then you can restore that backup on a new memory card.

You could also transfer individual games to the above platforms, if you don't want to backup the whole card.

Ah! Very Good.

Can KZ:M be downloaded and played on 4GB card? I head there were some issues with large patches, but I never closely followed those news.

Great list, for me at least. Tower of Guns is great, I didn't play enough of it on PC, and so the PS4 version shall be played plenty. Never Alone I've been meaning to play, and Aaru's Awakening looks very cool. Dishonored I played on PC, it is super great. But the standout is Killzone Mercenary, I've been wanting to play this game for ages. Can't wait for that one! I hope the multiplayer is still populated or gets populated enough with it being on Plus.

It's exactly what I'm saying

From the Playstation Blog this year:

In america (the continent) PsNow is currently only supported in the US and Canada. If you try to play from the other side of the continent. Say, Chile or Argentina, chances are you are going to get terrible performance even if you have decent internet. Because the distance to the Server is just too great and right now Sony has no local servers for the service.

If I don't get the PsVita games it's because it's my choice to not have that console. If I ever feel like owning one I can go to the nearest store and buy it.

The place where people are born and where they live is often not their choice.

As someone who lives in America and half of his family lives in El Salvador in very poor conditions - I'm well aware. But like I said in the past, you're arguing for less just because you personally can't access it. Some people consider owning a ps4 or vita a luxury that they'll never have and I don't see them complaining about free ps4/vita games and should go away (frankly because the ps3 offerings are great).

I really couldn't get into Mercenary on the vita. It felt like a square peg in a round hole kind of thing. Looked gorgeous though. Surprised so many people are up on it.

Why do people feel the need to compare with PC? Like what does that have to do with how Sony handles their business? The MAJORITY of gamers on PS4 probably do not PC game. So why in the world should Sony care about what PC gamers can get and try and compete? They compete with other console competition not PC. For a console gamer, PS+ is a great value, unless you are one of those folks who think "indie" games are not games.
No one's saying that Sony has to care. Some people will go out of their way to only buy Vita versions of games, but that has no bearing on me. We all want different things. I would personally rather have games that are exclusive to the system or have something in that version that can't be found in any other ones.

The majority of indie games can be run on non-gaming desktop or laptop PCs (or even Macs) with the control scheme of your choosing, so I'd personally choose the more customizable (and potentially better) experience every time when I can.

Looking forward to aaru's awakening and never alone.

Tower of guns doesnt look my thing but i'll give it a shot. Dishonored deserves a replay i think.

KZ is a definite for me. Thought of buying it, but I had a feeling it might be free in the future. Next up (hopefully) is Resistance for the Vita.

Might play through Dishonored again (and will probably buy the DLC now).

The whining here is unbelievable. "ohh man I only want retail games..crappy month.. ps+ sucks". For what reason? Who knows. This idea that retail > indie/digital is nonsense. Give the games a try first and you may actually enjoy them. If not, you know the retail games are going to come. Even PS3 started with lesser known titles for + in the first 2 years.

I'm looking forward to trying out Tower of Guns...not looking forward to my backlog on PS4 reaching steam proportions.

So then you WOULD agree with Ps+ getting 2 extra games every month that are exclusive to South America while the US and Europe get nothing new? Right?

Or if Sony tomorrow announced that "Starting Next month Ps+ in Europe will be getting 3 games instead of 2 for every platform but we have no plans of doing this in the US" you'd be happy about it? Right

Because otherwise you'd be arguing for less just because you personally ca't acess it

Hey look, more people in kzm to test out the sky fury on >:D

Pretty good month tbh, always thought tower of guns looked repetitive though, even for a roguelike.

YISSSSS!! I already have Killzone Mercenary, but I'm glad it's a freebie. Been feeling the itch to play online, so hopefully this picks up the online activity for a while :)

Monsterbag looks cute. I would have bought it even if it wasn't a plus game, just because it captured my curiosity. I'm happy.

Hehehe. I'm personally looking forward to a Mantis Engine massacre.

There's this weird, unfortunate view that games are on tiers and aren't looked at as games as a whole. Sure, there's price tiers, but fun is fun, I've had loads more fun with a small, $10 game than on some $60 games, and vice versa. I agree with you, these games should be given a try rather than dismissed because they don't have boxed retail versions. PS4 is still young, plenty of time for the big games in the future!

I would like to know this as well. I'm using a 8GB card for PSTV and need to know how much space I'll need to download & install KZ:M.

This looks like a pretty good line up for me. I'm glad I jumped on board the PS3 train super late in the console generation, PS+ has been a fantastic way to catch up with all the greats of last gen!

KZ:M shows up at 3635mb on my Vita, version 1.11. I believe that a 4gb card has 3822mb of usable space.

Well, lets flip it to comparing apples to apples. If they announced that those countries and not the USA got to play 2 PSnow games that month with their PS subscription, I'd of course would want the same amount of content, but at the same time I wouldn't really care since they aren't taking anything away from me, the value of those are pretty low, and I wouldn't cancel my service over it.

Seriously what is it with ps4 only getting indi games while the ps3 get full games :/

Oh no not indi games!

The only good games that came out for the PS4 last year were indie games, so do you want good indie games or shitty retail games? Take your pick.

Hell how about giving us some playstation now games thrown in? At least there would be a bigger selection and it would let ps4 owners who never had a ps3 play some older classics.

It would probably be a good idea for PS Now to have a free rental for PS+ members each week or month, but the IGC is a fundamentally different service and it wouldn't make sense to mix them up. People get confused enough as it is about how ownership of PS+ games works.

Awesome! I've played the beginning of Dishonored on a friend's PC, but I'm excited to play the whole thing.

I do have one question about the PS3 version of Dishonored:
Is the game still worth playing without RAT SHADOWS?

Already have KZM, but looks like a decent month. I'm especially happy with Never Alone, been meaning to get that for a while, so that's a nice surprise.

The whining here is unbelievable.

Is it really unbelievable? It is mind-Knacking, I'll give you that.

"ohh man I only want retail games..crappy month.. ps+ sucks"

I haven't seen that quote. Got a link to it? I'd like to Knack some holes in your theory.

For what reason?

Some people have a Knack for that kind of thing.

Who knows.

The Shadow (of Knack) knows.

This idea that retail > indie/digital is nonsense.

Knack is available both in retail and digitally. Your point has been Knacked out.

Give the games a try first and you may actually enjoy them.

Only if that game is called Knack.

If not, you know the retail games are going to come.

Kinda like waiting for Godot (Knack is God).

Even PS3 started with lesser known titles for + in the first 2 years.

Little Big Planet was included in month 1 of the service. Knack-tier.

I'm looking forward to trying out Tower of Guns

More like Tower of Runs... to find Knack.

...not looking forward to my backlog on PS4 reaching steam proportions.

Yeah man, the worst thing ever would be to have too many games included. Slow it down, Sony! You've a Knack for giving me too much value!

Congrats to any Vita owner that did not have Mercenary. *shrugs* I'm as excited for MonsterBag as I was for Woah Dave! and The Hungry Horde which is to say, not much. Was kind of hoping for something like Murasaki's Baby. Ah well, maybe next month will be better for me for the Vita. PS4 and PS3 though, pretty nice set of games.

I almost bought Never Alone several times, glad I didn't.

Tower of Guns looks like a nice side project to Bloodborne. A palate cleanser if you will - something to play when I don't feel like being that invested in a game.

Does somebody know if MonsterBag worths a try ?
I have a hella big backlog so i prefer to focus on really good ones than spending my time on something pointless.

(Considering if i start i won't give it up and keep playing 'till the credits pop out)
