Are you ever tired of gaming?

Right now I'm bored. been a core gamer since 1989. Speaking as a 360 owner I just look at all the disc releases and I can just see how they have been made purely to sell to a mass market. Big budget safe games.
Even XBLA games now are either retro classics or arty games that would be more at home on an I device.

That being said the right game fuels my gaming passion, Space invader IG and Afterburner Climax were the last games to give me that feeling.

Right now the games I think are lacking passion for the format.

I know the OP sounded negatively, but right now I'm really gaming a lot. I love Nier, GT5, Killzone 3and of course super street fighter 4.
I was in a "tired of gaming state of mind" when FF XIII turned out to be utter crap :(

Waiting for a true final fantasy game feels like waiting for a good sonic game nowadays.

I was about to reply no to the OP but then I read this and I feel you here. When something I'm hyped for lets me down it can take the wind out of my sails a bit for sure. Especially since waiting for the same developer to take another crack at it will take years.

Generally speaking though, when I've got some enjoyable games to play I wish I had more time. It's taking me a while to even finish Bulletstorm right now and I don't think the game is that long.

Well sometimes I just don't find anything interesting to play and end up just perhaps reading more about upcoming games and now I'm involved on my own game project which is going to be pretty much time consuming but I will play some 3DS since I preordered it.

I find that the only time I "tire" of gaming is when life gets busy and I realize that I've bitten off more than I can chew; case and point, buying another game when I already have a few I have yet to play/finish. The kicker is knowing that there's next to no chance of a decent return if I were to sell/trade any of the backlog (opting not to bother playing them) since I bought them the day they came out at the full $60.

Not really tired of games as such but I feel like I'm wasting my time when I play them, now more than I used to. I feel like I should be learning something useful instead.

Luckily I can play games as a means to study currently.

Absolutley Not. But primarily because of my vast library.

I just move on and dont try to stick to one console, or genre of games for too long. Im fortunate enough to own more than 1 console. (Going all the way back to original NES)

I could see how a single console gamer could EASILY get bored.

Currently im in the "nothing interests me on consoles-so Ill give love to my PC" phase-non-stop Metro 2033, and Torchlight.

never tired of gaming where I completely quit but I have times like now where I'm not that enthused about gaming. Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, and Dragon Age 2 should get me to E3 and depending on announcements there I'll be excited again.

Also as long Lego games are made and my Daughter and Son like I'll be playing those at least until they grow out of em which will probably be NEVER!!!!
