omg he doesn't even like the show
Due to these not being on Network TV, do we know if these new episodes will be censored like the first 3 seasons? Normally I'm against all censorship (so annoying in Breaking Bad, Southland etc) but the bleeps make this so much funnier.
Heh this is actually old old art. I've had this art without the fan-added "season 4" part on a poster for like, 5 years.Modern Family parody?

The bleeps were intentional, like obviously. Just think about "bringing up buster" and the rant on lucille. The bleeps make that scene.
You're a crook, Captain Hook.Ugh. The Buster/hand angle was the worst thing about the show.

No fucking way.
The worst was Tobias and his increasingly gross hair plug situation.
LOL I remember being thoroughly creeped out by that. Especially when he can't move and is in the chair.
What happens after Season 4? Is the plan to still make a movie next or just go straight to season 5?

I wonder how much of the new season is going to be set in the OC.
Don't call it that.
Is this airing in the UK the same date as in the US?
The season is designed as a “first act to what we eventually want to do, which is a big movie,” though there’s no guarantee it will ever get made.“The bigger story is the family has fallen apart at the start of our show,” Hurwitz says. “They all went their own way, without Michael holding them together, so they’re left to their own devices, and they’re not the most successful devices.”
“Each individual (episode) kind of depicts what happens in 2006 as the Bluths fled from the law on the Queen Mary” in what was once the series’ finale, then explains what’s happened to them since and leaves them in the present day, he says.
“The show will look very different,” Hurwitz says, and is being assembled as a “very, very complex puzzle” from scenes shot out of sequence over many months. The true flavor “slowly reveals itself, as the moment you saw in one show will reappear in another show from a different character’s perspective,” he says. “If people watch it all at once, it will seem like a giant Arrested Development. It’s really tailored for Netflix.”
Hurwit reveals big story details.
I love the sound of everything except the idea that this is all acting as a prelude to a movie. A movie has never sounded like a good idea and I still don't see it being a bankable one.
The idea of the episodes re-telling some of the same things from different perspectives sounds absolutely perfect for the show's layered humor.

Does that mean we'll get unreliable narrators?
Kind of strange how there hasn't been any more set pics.
The first couple of days had huge coverage from bloggers and now nothing...
So they must be done filming?
There will be an Arrested Development panel today at the TCA press tour. All the main cast, plus Hurwitz, will be there with the exception of Tony Hale and David Cross. Looking forward to seeing what nuggets of info are revealed.
They are on hiatus, right? Until Hurwitz figures out what extra stuff he needs to film?

Yessssss, if anyone finds an article on whats said post it here please.
Seems to be the case, the order for Netflix originally was 10 episodes. Now it looks like we are around 14 because he had extra footage he deemed reasonable to request the extra episodes. Now hes filling in the blanks and probably writing around what he has to extend his additional footage.
Tony Hale won't be there? Everyone's going to be laughing, and riding, and cornholing except Buster...
I know that's a weak reference, but that line always makes me laugh.

Has David Cross lost weight to get back into the role? He got really big in 2011/2012. Or are they going to write that in.
He'll suck it up, even if he has to stop being a chubby.
