3rd parties sure are living that PS3 lately.
It's nothing new. Sony has been doing deals with EA and Ubisoft for a while now.

Or maybe because it's on the disc and not DLC?They do not call it ''exclusive DLC'' because we all know it means something forgettable. They call it ''exclusive 60 minutes gameplay'' in dev-time which either equals in 10 minutes of oné of the most shittiest missions or something even more shittier.
Weird, hasn't every installment of AC been technically inferior on the PS3?
From the publisher's point of view, sure. From the developers who are actually doing the work? I doubt they're killing themselves over it.Because the first party is paying them to do it? Obviously the money is enough to make up for the extra dev time and testing.
That's bizarre logic. When it is something forgettable, no one has a problem calling it DLC. Isn't it more likely it's just because it's not DLC, it's authored on the master itself? They do not call it ''exclusive DLC'' because we all know it means something forgettable. They call it ''exclusive 60 minutes gameplay'' in dev-time which either equals in 10 minutes of oné of the most shittiest missions or something even more shittier.

Revelations was better on PS3 according to lens of truth.
I contacted Ubisoft about this to see if I could find out what it's all about. Here's their response:
At E3 2012, Ubisoft announced that Assassins Creed III will feature exclusive content on the PlayStation 3. We will have more information on what is included in this content at a later date.
But as far as I know, the only exclusive content announced at E3 were unlocks through Assassin's Creed III: Liberation for PlayStation Vita (and the unlocks were for the Vita game, IIRC.)
Installation time doesn't count as gameplay
WHY
360 versions consistently outsells the PS3.
Sony pays for it so it either with straight money, free marketing, or lowered royalities.

I cannot imagine how horrid the 360 version was then, because the PS3 one was brutal.
From the publisher's point of view, sure. From the developers who are actually doing the work? I doubt they're killing themselves over it.
Something must be wrong with your PS3.
Nice try tho.
Installation time doesn't count as gameplay
I have the entire series on PS3 anyway so I'm cool with this.
I bet you play as Aveline or something.
and it will still sell better on xbox360 remember EA had some offers simialir to this sorta thing with battlefield and it sold better on 360 still
Installation time doesn't count as gameplay
And that's all that matters in the end. Man I love my favorite console.and it will still sell better on xbox360 remember EA had some offers simialir to this sorta thing with battlefield and it sold better on 360 still
Installation time doesn't count as gameplay
I got it on PS3 so I WIN. I WIN OK.
Installation time doesn't count as gameplay
But hey, its nice to know there is some content I won't have access to on my platform of choice. Thanks Ubisoft, I guess.
Good point. Agreed entirely. The way I see it is that since the PS3 is the full version, it is the only version worth full price at $60. Since the WiiU and 360 versions have less content it is worth less in my eyes so I'll buy the game on those systems when it drops to $40. You can really expect gamers to pay full price for less content.
Because they're either dumb, or are just Sony fanboys.
Well, they should've took that money & put more effort towards the dying Vita handheld.
LMAO, Lens of Truth are a joke. I trust Digital Foundry & B3D Forums a lot more better in multiplat comparisons.
Should have spent the time and money to do something cool if you linked up the Vita version with it instead.
somebody is angry lol. I wonder if you think activision, capcom, bethesda ect. are all microsoft fanboys?Because they're either dumb, or are just Sony fanboys.
