Fuck these 500gb consoles. X1 and PS4 shoulda had a TB day one.
What's stopping you hookin up 5tbs like I did? Will last you for gens to come.

It's great you can have external/ larger hard drives in these machines. What isn't great is the need to do that after owning a certain amount of games.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this the "fundamentally unplayable" game that was hinted at a few weeks ago? I remember seeing something about it being confirmed to be this.
Anyway that's a big damn update plus the I'm sure 5GB day 1 patch.
By the way, if you're ordering in UK you might want to change console region to United States and order from there - aside from being much cheaper, it releases 4 days earlier.

That was the hint, and the same outlet made a video stating how bad the performance was, yet had no footage to back it up. Meanwhile on the same day countless YouTube channels uploaded many hours worth of their own play sessions from the same event, and any performance issues were pretty minor. Just do a search on YouTube for the game, and you'll find a ton of footage from about a week ago.Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this the "fundamentally unplayable" game that was hinted at a few weeks ago? More like fuck Sony for not supporting external HDDs. I got 2.5 tb available for my Xbox One.
And what does that have to do withthe lack of external HDD support not being total bullshit?Got a nice 2tb inside my ps4, have every game I own installed and just over 50% of the total hdd space still available. Problem?
Or, dont. Buy from the UK store as then you can at least get a refund via the new consumer rights law for it being a broken game if the reports are true.

Why? Wouldn't this game in particular be a good moment to throw the british a bone?By the way, if you're ordering in UK you might want to change console region to United States and order from there - aside from being much cheaper, it releases 4 days earlier.

Do we have any info on the games performance yet?
I'd love to pre-order so I can start the download but if its similar to Unity I might wait till we get an analysis.

Right, forgot about that. They're still salty about Agincourt?Either way the money goes to Ubisoft, you know the French company.
Was Unity that big? Not at my PC right now but last time I checked it was about 30gb-ish, no idea on XO though.
We'd still be saying the exact sam thing if they came with 1TB drives too. At least the rate I've been buying games.

Unity PC is, including DLC, a 45.1GB download/50.7GB install.
Edit: Excluding DLC, the install size is roughly 42.8GB.
And what does that have to do withthe lack of external HDD support not being total bullshit?
AC Unity is 47.57GB on my PS4, so this would actually be smaller!
Have there usually been any big differences between Xbox One and PS4 install sizes? I just remember Wolfenstein being huge on every platform.
I think it balances out because, you can't remove the internal hard drive from the Xbox One like the PS4, right?
PS4 HDD is encrypted and tied to the PS4. Xbox One external HDDs are not and you can have multiple connected and you can take it to a friends place. If I wanted to I can have like 10tb hooked up. They also perform faster than the internal HDD.
500GB is a pathetic amount considering a lot of games are coming out as 40-50GB and some of the 500GB isnt even available to use(atleast on X1, something like 350GB is the actual hard drive space).
500Gb is absolutely fine for the vast majority of people, and anyone that needs more space can easily get it on either console.
How many games do you think the average person owns? And how many people do you think have a problem with deleting a game they haven't played in ages?
People said the same thing about 20gb and 60gb consoles last generation.

are we really trusting sponsored youtubers? if their playing early copies of it, i don't expect to see any bugs or hear any complaints. same for people on twitch with early copies.
Tbf it could have been THPS5 considering how fucker that is.Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this the "fundamentally unplayable" game that was hinted at a few weeks ago? I remember seeing something about it being confirmed to be this.

Are they really any different from mainstream publications? Both rely on the publishers for content. My point is that we have a few sites claiming the game was running poorly while everyone else is saying that it ran fine, and the hours upon hours of footage point to the later being more accurate. I couldn't care less about the impressions of the press, but rather what I can see with my own eyes during raw gameplay footage.are we really trusting sponsored youtubers? if their playing early copies of it, i don't expect to see any bugs or hear any complaints. same for people on twitch with early copies.
As much as I dislike ubisoft, I really doubt they would rush another outing to market after the unity shitstorm.
