I wonder how much you have to pay a month, with the total cost of the US version.

Can anyone photoshop Blue or black to the picks shown on page 2?

Thanks.

Here are the colors...not much variety though

Still the best looking GTR IMO. To me, car designs peaked in the mid 90s.

R34>*

Looks like a mix between a Celica and G35.... in any case.. it doesnt scream super car to me... its nothing special.. its about RX7 level.

"The engine power output values indicated in this catalog are all net power output values.
•Engine power output can be indicated as 'Net power output' or 'Gross power output'. 'Gross' values are estimations of power output of the engine alone. 'Net' values are estimations of when the engine is assembled onto the vehicle. For estimations of the same gasoline engines, 'Net' values are approximately 15% lower than 'Gross' values according to JAMA research."

Uhhhhh...holy shit. That's about 550HP at the crank, then.

650-700hp 70k starting price
Link please. I thought that starting price for ZR1 was around $100K:

Production of the supercharged Corvette will start in July of 2008 (as a 2009 model). Annual production numbers expected to be in the 1500-1750 range. When the all-new ZR-1 goes to production- expect the price tag to be in the $100,000 range.

Also, I don't think that the GT-R stock wouldn't be compared to a ZR1...it'll be compared to a Z06 most likely.
The next GT-R V-spec will most likely be directly compared to the ZR1.

They expect the price to be in the 100k range, but nothing is confirmed yet. My estimate is low I accept it, but I doubt it will be 100k. A 30k mod could get you better performance out of a Z06.

That's a very good point. Which car has more mod potential?
This is where the GT-R series truly shine above the rest imo and this one should be no exception.
These cars are known for the insane amount of untapped power waiting to be unleashed.

I can't wait and see what kind of Beasts will be born from the new GT-R series.

I will not deny that. I have never modded a car tbh, but my dad's stock Z06 has never dissapointed. I ride a Sebring right now, but as soon as I switch to a Camaro, I'll see if I can get into modding.

i must say its gonna be a good year for turbo cars... GT-R, STI, Evo-X, 135i.. might have to save up some pennies...

Thats pretty stupid reasoning. :lol

If that was the case then why even bother with a Z06? The base Vette stickers around 42k while the Z06 is 72k MSRP.

Just when you thought the Nissan GT-R couldnÂ’t get any better (some may disagree), Nissan sources have confirmed that the company will be introducin the Nissan GT-R Spec V in 2010 to the U.S. market.

The 2010 Nissan GT-R Spec V will be a more powerful, lightweight version of the new 473 horsepower car and will arrive a year after the GT-R hits road in the U.S. next summer.

Pricing is yet to be revealed of the current Nissan GT-R but expect the Spec V to be much more than the base model.

this car is amazing but one thing i hate is the interior. the ford mustang looking/american auto type big circle air vents are just disgusting.

R34 is a better car, but I prefer the sportier styling of the the R33. The R34 has too many blocky features and not enough curves. Not saying the R34 is ugly. I like it, but the R33 is my bitch!
now the R33 i could agree on beeing ugly, its just a fat blob with no clear lines
the R32 is hella sweet thou and so is the R34

Meanwhile, in other opinions, if I can get the fifth-gen Camaro in Bumblebee Gold, and I can get a pimped out V8-powered 'Maro for $30K, I'll bite. GM can do no wrong, between this, the Pontiac G8, and the Saturn Astra. Bob Lutz = MANGOD. :D

I just noticed you can use the car in the prostreet demo. I was planning on getting an 08 M3 but I can easily save up and wait another year for this.

honestly, between the m3 and the gt-r i'd save the 30k (although i guess at that point the word save is probably highly inappropriate) and get an m3.

besides, when the spec V (or spec V evo???) shows up, you're going to look like the guys who bought R3{2-4} gts/-ts

hell, if you have that kind of money and actually care about motorsports, get a track day special (or better, an ariel atom) and a yota corolla for commuting. if you absolutely must experience all the world's GT cars, do like the dpcars guy and cycle though them, trying to absorb as little depreciation as possible (and thrashing them at every possible opportunity while you do).

hmm.. i wonder what he has right now.. OH hey! an atom and a mini! imagine that.

I was gonna say how much I hated the front of it, but it actually looks quite good in white and black. Looks incredibly tacky in silver though. And overall nowhere near as good as the R34.
