Doesn't Xfire now have a video recording tool?
Xfire doesn't support AudioSurf at the moment.

Someone needs to edit the entire Daft Punk - Alive into one file and play it =D

Yea just checked, and it seems he managed to get Stealth on it x)

Shame about Alive, anyone know the exact length limit?

all that really needs to be said about ninja mono on like any song I've played with a lot of bass/percussion:

Hmm...it's not recognizing some of my songs from iTunes. Anyone else get this problem?
If they are bought from the iTunes store and are not iTunes plus then you can't play them unless you burn them to a CD and import them back to your HDD. I'm done with iTunes now, Amazon mp3 all the way.

I would just like to say that it's great to see such love for this game.

Over 1,000 posts on a thread about an indie game.

i can download and play this on any computer as long as i have steam and logged into my account right?

i might do that :P

Good man. Do something about those Dr. Wily scores in my stead while you're at it.

Meshuggah wins in this game.

Load up destroy erase improve if you got it. The track for that is hot sex.

I'm loving the game so far, though I really kinda suck at it. :lol :lol

Not claiming that this is a great score or anything, but uh ... one of these things is not like the other. One of these things just doesn't belong. And by the way, this song has a really crazy traffic section just before the upbeat part kicks in. Definitely worth checking out.

I tried rational gaze just before and a song from catch 33 (forgot it) and they wernt too shabby. Will give destroy a shot later on tonight.

I'm #1 on a whole bunch of stuff now.
Alan Jackson - The Talkin' Car Repair Song Blues
Joe Nichols - She Only Smokes When She Drinks
Montgomery Gentry - Hell Yeah

The more I like the music, the better my scores. Just placed #1 at Jamiroquai's King for a Day. :D

This is the indie GOTY for sure.

That was epic, but kinda mundane. I was expecting more rollercoaster moments :(

Time to see if the live version will load.

No dice :( Bugger.

Ok i love Autechre, Tortoise, etc but do you know what song really rock? Bonny Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Hearth. :lol Seriously. I can't concentrate on doing the puzzle stuff (i am not a mono guy) because of the awesome experience you get from that song, you really feel you are surfing the song, track twist included

Well, I'm still not great at Eraser Elite, but once again for all the ninja mono players:

I tried the Dr. Wily track and failed pretty badly though. That thing is insane on Eraser Elite.

ahh good. looks like someone took the "Barbie Girl" spot. I will not fight for it. 116k on that song? really? it has nearly 300 traffic... damn hard.

I hate to like keep posting this stuff and bragging (well ok, I enjoy it because I am pathetic and enjoy feeding my ego) but ninja mono really does seem highly limited for scores on most songs I've played so far. And I haven't really stuck to any one genre. It was good training for the speed of elite mode though.

I'm by no means playing these tracks flawlessly or even picking up all the better scoring colors I can, so seeing that kind of discrepancy makes me think either the ninja mono guys were even worse than me, or ninja mono just blows for real high scores (except for those dirty, dirty cheaters on the Dr. Wily track).

is this game actually any fun?

i like the concept, but the videos im seeing havent really struck me as something i want to play.

It's as fun as your collection of music. I never play pro or elite modes, mono casual is enough for me and I've enjoyed it.

...Great?

I didn't realize this was a Wii game.

It's just an interesting way to experience your music, with a fun puzzle game built on top. There is a demo, you know? Maybe you should try playing it instead of having people trying to explain it to you or watching a video that doesn't tell you everything about the game?

Dude I thought the same thing, and even though I'm not getting the whole puzzle game vibe. I think it's an awesome way to enjoy music. I am lazy so I was just like "this better be like a blowjob listening to an album" because I am the kind of dude who likes to work or relax while listening to music- not play. Give it a shot.

I meant it gives you another way to enjoy your collection, it's just some genres work better than others so some people won't have a lot of music that works well with the game. It's just slight movements of the mouse, wouldn't call it waggle.

Hey, sweet! We get the anti-Nintendo trolls in here. I feel so at home.

Anyway, you can use the keyboard or a 360 controller, if moving your mouse back and forth is such an affront to your beliefs on how a game should be interacted with. Personally, I prefer the mouse because I find that while it's not as precise, it's certainly faster and allows you to weave in and out of blocks with ease, once you get the hang of it.

bad choice of words i guess. im not anti anything. dont get your panties in a wad people.

the videos make it look like you just wank back and forth vaguely in time to the music.

i choce the word "waggle". so sorry. call off the defence force. christ.

oh right, there is a demo. forgot about that. that would make sense. no need to get defensive about it though.

WE ARE SENSITIVE PC GAMERS

(But yeah, seriously, go give it a shot. It's not the best thing ever, but I've put 10 enjoyable hours into it since friday with many more to come, I'm sure.)

This seems to be acting a bit funny on me lately. The introductory menu screen is unresponsive (I have to click start a few times), when I load the options screen I get the little options window but with none of the options, and then when I play the game I get no sound effects =/

It's brilliant otherwise though!

im am too. i understand.

if its still only 10$ when i get around to it ill probably bite. cant have too many games in my Steam account.

What's peoples' preferred controls for this game?

I've been using the mouse mostly, just feels right. I don't like how the ship warps to the next lane when using the arrow keys.
