I'm all for unique names but within reason. The kid has to deal with your attempt at being different for the rest of its life.

That's good advice. My daughters name is Piper but she has 2 middle names just in case she doesn't like Piper later on (although Piper is an adorable name).

Geralt/Gerald/Gerolt is actually a Germanic and not a Slavic name.

I've been very adamant about naming him Geralt as an homage to the Witcher series and CD Projekt Red but the gf is not convinced. She thinks that people will think it's a weird name and might alienate him from others growing up.
