Harley looks like a Suicide Girl. But, on the plus side, the lighting and normal mapping on the character models look a lot better.

Arkham Asylum is one of my favorite games of all time, and this looks even better. The enemies have more varied designs, the city looks like it will be a lot of fun to explore, and the combat looks like it will give us more options.

Well they're only 720p. I'm sure even a GTX 260 could manage 30fps with 4xSGSSAA at that sort of resolution and you'd be damn close to these shots with that level of high quality supersampling. A single GTX 470/480 should be able to step it up to 8xSGSSAA and at that point, they absolutely will look that good, so no SLI isn't necessary for that level of quality, really.

But I'll be honest with myself here. I was really looking forward to the new (cityscape) environment. But the game looks "more of the same" to me at the moment. Looking at the pictures I immediately thought Batman was fighting thugs in some big gothic library (similar to the one in Arkham Asylum). Its only after a few moments I realized he was in the middle of a city. I'm just not feeling the "city" part of the game I guess (probably has something to do with lighting and ambience? I dunno). In the end, it doesn't matter because even if the game was set in a giant box, I'd still buy it day 1.

I bought the original on ps3 and then again on pc. I have to say the improved frame-rate made the game 100x more enjoyable. I hope the pc version comes out with the console versions because thats definitely the version I want to get.

Man. Can't they just try to make Harley look somewhat recognizable. She looks more generic now IMO. And the over designed detailing on Catwoman's suit is needless. The simple black leather catsuit would've been nicer. But overall things are looking good, perhaps better than the last one.

Its more than his face for one thing. Its doesnt really make sense. Rocksteady hates standard Harley though.

Batman: AA was my game of the year so I have no doubt this will be equally awesome. Love the costume, glad they didn't try to go for a nolan look on it. Harley looks alright although I preferred her AA costume but that comes from being raised on the animated series I guess. Catwoman looks fine, she looks like her most recent comic incarnation although I agree compared to batman's old school suit they should have just stuck with the black leather version.

Yeah, consoles aren't capable of outputting that quality of AA (Supersampled most likely).
