Battlefield 2042 screenshots leak!

Also how the hell is the grappling hook going to work I wonder? I know some BF title in the past had like a zipline that you could place anywhere but a straight up grappling hook ala BO4 would be cray cray.

I want to throw it at the heads of proning sniper campers and troll them. I need more troll equipment dice, where is my EOD bot?
 
I always enjoy the multiplayer and those screens look good, just hope they have a fully fleshed out BR mode at some point.

Anti-sniper Camping suggestion: the more consecutive headshots you land in one minute, the greater chance that one rebounds off their cigarette lighter and one shots you from 400m away, with a big "PING!" like something out of XIII

Finally, WW1 was such a garbage setting and WW2 is so played out. I've been waiting for a modern/futuristic battlefield since BF4, the last one I put serious hours into.

If you want my money and time don't set any shooter before the Vietnam War, you lose way too much variety in weapons. Last two COD's have nailed it for me but this BF has got me excited.

there's nothing new in these old flat games, it's the same shit since forever. I'm not missing anything.

but when they offer VR mode, I'm definitely checking out - because I definitely miss this high level of production not available in VR indies...

Which is yet another 1h countdown xD This is even bigger bullshit than what Sony did with HFW... I have little faith now that we will see even a second of actual gameplay, fuck you EA.

Honestly this game doesn't scream exactly next generation only... it remind me a lot graphically to BFV from those screenshot.

Can't wait till October.

The vibe I'm getting this will have huge maps with a LOT of vehicles, I am not a fan of too many vehicles as I prefer skill (as a soldier on foot) instead of dominating with a tank/APC.
