Is there a nvidia driver issue? Runs rather badly on my 680gtx.
My god, the console vehicles controls...
The levels are plain, about half way through all the textures disappear and it's horrid looking. I'm not sure why they even thought to bring this to current gen consoles
I don't agree with the complaints about switching the spot button. Players should be spotting more than they're checking the scoreboard, therefore makes complete sense to have spotting on the more intuitively placed shoulder button than select/back.
Nope, I threw a kit to a couple of guys who were hurt and I didn't get any points. It is my imagination or the Assault kit doesn't earn points when healing someone else with the small kit?
You can't even consider it a step backward..... it's just bizarre the new setup.
but wow at the FPS!!!
That said, I will say the level was kind of... plain?... looking. Ground textures were nice, character models great, and lighting absolutely fantastic. But wall textures and rubble were pretty poor. Or at least, lacking. Also, on a 64 player server, and things felt a tad sparse. I only played for like thirty minutes, but I only had a single big shootout. Most of the match was just small squads of three or four making their way across the map, occasionally taking fire from the distance. How many helicopters are there? I definitely think some more air command would make for a more interesting experience.
So, what is the main draw of 4? As in, whats 4 got that makes someone want to jump from 3 without hesitation?
How hard would it be to removed the fucking awful squad mechanic where people magically appear next to them in fire fights.
Gotta chase that instant gratification CoD crowd. :/
Sorry but being able to spawn on squad mates has been a staple of the Battlefield series ever since Battlefield 2, so I don't think they are doing it for the "CoD crowd"
Battlefield 2 only allowed you to spawn on a squad leader. So if he was dead- enjoy the walk. I wouldn't mind if they enabled it so that you can only spawn when out of combat for three seconds but nothing is more fucking frustrating than winning a fight only to have the person who spawned 0.1 seconds before their death just unload a fresh clip in to you.
Total and utter bullshit.

After playing a few matches on 360, it really shows that this game really wasn't meant to be played on the current-gen consoles. It feels like a forced port.
Kept hitting BACK for spotting, why in the hell did they have to change that? Didn't enter a single vehicle so can't comment on the vehicle controls.
Shitty textures galore, but this probably was because the demo doesn't have the "HD" texture pack that BF3 also kind of required to install. However, the levels are empty, buildings are empty, streets are empty, 24 players just get lost in the wilderness. These Conquest maps were built with 64 players in mind, not 24.
69.99 for the game, 59.99 for the Premium, straight from the get-go. That's a total of 130 for a game basically. Then they push "battlepacks" in your face. The whole game reeks of P2W without being F2P.
I've clocked nearly 500 hours for BFBC2, 400 hours for BF3 and I think this could've been a new map pack for BF3. Will not buy for current-gen consoles. Will wait for PS4, when the main game price drops.
but the vehicle controls are totally fucked up on the consoles

I'm not too sure how I feel about this game. Guns sound way worst then in BF3

Is anyone else having a trouble pre-ordering from origin? I click place order and it takes me back to cart view with bf4 still in it and charges my card $1.10 and nothing shows up under order history afterwards.
Oh man, my PC just struggled with this game and I built it last year.
System specs:
i5 2500k
8GB Ram @1600
GeForce 6600 3GB model
When it is set to "auto detect" most of the settings are on high or ultra at default with a resolution of 1920x1080, the game does run anywhere from 60 to below 20fps depending on the area I am in, also it crashes a lot. I really think the culprit is lack of RAM, this game seems like it really demands more than 8GB's on PC.
Final build won't run this bad, after all, it's an unoptimized beta.My rig can't handle it.
Even at the lowest settings, things still stutter.
Not going to bother upgrading my PC. It's PS4 time.

I don't like what they've done with sniper rifles. I prefer seeing the bullet instead of a trajectory line.
I don't get how leaning works.
