Nah, your RAM is fine. It is just because it is in beta. I have the same stuff (although my PC has close to the same specs).
There's an option to turn it off in the settings. On the 360:
- remove useless battlelog button. I mean wtf.
I don't get how leaning works.
Trajectory line is to aide other players. Makes it easier for them to spot snipers hiding in the sides of the map. I only wish the vapor trail was a little less thick so you can use it to gauge bullet drop in its current state its far too thick.
Cool, got it figured out. Thanks! You lean out slightly when you're close enough to corners and such, pressing left trigger edges you out further while aiming down sights.
I would pay money to be able to put spotting back on the Back button on my 360 controller (and I imagine Select on the PS3 (or whatever that second button is))... Honestly... Battlelog doesnt need to be in the middle of my match... and Right Bumper is where fire used to be for my tanks... Ive gotten myself killed so many times by forgetting that fire is swapped to LB under this ridiculous control scheme.

Guns sound way worst then in BF3
Options > Gameplay > Battlelog In-Gameum where? I can only turn off the ingame info on the top right corner, but I can't change the back button.
I hated having the spot button as 'Back' on the 360 controller. You couldn't aim and spot at the same time.
Options > Gameplay > Battlelog In-Game
Edit : Just won a game of Conquest with only three tickets left on our team. Feels good.
Exactly.
I don't know that the aid is necessary though. Were snipers too hard to spot in Battlefield 3?
Ok, I'm getting confused. Its been a while. I meant moving. You cant move while spotting.Really? Thats odd... never gave me any issues... Aiming was done with the right stick, and spotting was done with the left thumb. Moving was a bit hard, but managable... but aiming wasnt difficult at all.
Still... I can see the issue... so just give me the option so both parties are happy.
Huh, it worked for me.yeah I've done that. Back button is still battlelog, it just won't show in the top right corner.
Yeah, that's been a recurring issue for me, too. Also not enough ammo around. I run out of ammo every time. When someone dies, kits almost disappear instantly.
Man im kinda tired of this already.
I was so excited for a map like this and it turns out horrible. what a boring empty map.
needs the boats and stuff.
Using the little bird is the only thing im enjoying currently(after I messed with the controls for 10 minutes)
At times yes they were.
I like the idea of a bullet trail I see they also lowered the amount of scope glare so it sorta balances itself out.
I see you never played hardcore in BF3.
Played some games with Killer and had alot fun. Here some pics.
ATM I'm ways and ways less competitive than in BF3, I have to catch all the changes, but my overall feelings are quite optimistic: the game seems to have the potential to be a better BF.
Can't say I agree with you there. The guns, and audio in general, sounds fantastic in this game. To me, it's the new gold standard for audio in games.
There are boats.
Tons of vehicles if I remember correctly.
3 mbt per side, 1 ifv on each side, 2 helicopters per side, and various transports .
Playing on PS3, I'm having the same issue with this beta as I did with BF3 until Dice finally fixed it a year later since its release; input lag.
At 720p the controls feel sluggish and occasionally unresponsive. Lowering the resolution to 576p probably has an influence on the game's performance, because the controls are noticeably more responsive. I'm also worried about the seemingly increased performance hit on the console as compared to BF3; I had it freeze on me a couple of times as the building collapsed, or when it was about to.
Sure, "it's a beta", but it's really not. I'm concerned if they don't at least fix the input lag before release, the community will still have shit for brains like last time, thinking that the guns have weighty controls and that others players need to ''git gud'', resulting with Dice doing nothing about it, or having it really low on their priority list.
I've heard this a couple times. What do you mean by that?Sure, "it's a beta", but it's really not.

playing conquest. only 1 MBT per side, 1 or 2 MRAPS and the scout chopper.
There is a possibility to drop from 720p to 576p on PS3? There is no such option on 360, at least couldn't find one?

yeah, you're probably right about the un-optimizations in the beta. But looking at my task manager, BF4 seems to eat my system ram quite fast. I had to close quite a few browser windows to free up some memory. I did upgrade to the latest Nvidia driver though, and gave that a try. It did make some minor differences to my game performance.
Im sure the PS4 version etc, will be great but manI am assuming PC.
Ugh this makes me wan to rebuild a new PC, the xbox 360 version feels lacking for some strange reason. I was able to play BF3 on the xbox 360 but Bf4....
The audio in general is great, but the guns sound muffled. It's weird. They "pop" more in BF3.
I'd agree with that.
I'm sure this has been answered already, but is the XP carrying over to release?
Well if you want to get super technical it is muffled in real life too due to electronic ear protection. This also explains why you are not swathed in engine noise when you are inside tanks.
Ah, the smell of the first knife kill....

Unlocked the Scar-H.
It looks like ass, but I'm loving it.

They do tons of fixes. I don't know how bad the input lag thing on the PS3 was, but I think you're taking that and forgetting all the other major changes changes they made from beta to release with BF3.The betas that Dice does with the BF games are always too close to release, with too little time to fix things meaningfully. I'm also taking into account Dice's trackrecord of fixing issues, on PS3 at least, which I haven't been impressed by since BF3. The input lag thing really grated on my nerves, and the pessimist in me assumes that it probably will again if I choose to buy BF4.
