I really like how her gameplay looks. The rhythm, at least from what we saw in that trailer, looks like it might feel like playing a Bayonetta game. Nothing more satisfying then comboing into a Weave
It's cool that's she is in the game but I am kinda disappointed that she's the only poll character getting into the game, I was expecting at least 2 or 3 from the poll. Though on the bright side at least Rayman and K.Rool isn't in the game.
Still pissed that Takamari didn't get in and is just an assist trophy and a Mii costume.

I voted Wonder Red, but this feels perfectly fitting. Putting Bayonetta in Smash kind of solidifies her place as a Nintendo character this gen. It may even lead to Bayonetta 2 getting some sales, which it completely deserves (of course, W101 does too, but Wonder Red is at least an assist trophy).
And god, "ask your mother" being a line just makes me happy to be alive.

Bayonetta in Smash?
I still don't like the idea of her being in the game, and the painfully bad innuendo throughout her entire reveal sums up why. Still, I get she has her fans and at the end of the day it doesn't really matter.
Can't say I'm excited about Corrin either tbh lol. Oh well, Cloud was enough for me anyway.

This version of Smash regardless of what people say is brilliant. They did a great job with it and the community is good.

Reasons why this is awesome:
1. Bayonetta is over-the-top and a perfect fit for Smash.
2. We're getting a Bayonetta Amiibo.
3. New official Bayonetta artwork is always appreciated.
4. The support that Bayonetta received in the poll and her inclusion in this game has got to increase the chances of Bayonetta 3 being released one day.
5. On a general note, it's fantastic to see a hyper-sexualized character in a mainstream game like this. Sexy = fun.

If these were the announcements if the ballot didn't exist then that would be amazing.
But was the ballot really needed to give us Cloud and Bayonetta? I think Sakurai would have known already what kind of reaction these characters would have gotten.
I feel it was used as a cheap way to make money off Mii costumes. I love Sakurai for what he is doing and this game is amazing but I feel the ballot itself was not necessary. He could have easily held a private poll with x amount of people or something

So, yeah I got it way faster than the Cloud reveal, which actually took me a while because although I knew I'd heard the music before, I couldn't place it. Probably because it wasn't in lousy PSX quality....

Same here. I thought it was Viridi or even Hades at first. Then it focused on the moon and I heard Bayonetta speak.
TBA. Sakurai said that Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta will get amiibo.
