not sold on beast design. but sure it looks better in motion then the pictures.

and just me maybe. but the cgi looks really rough in some scenes. it feels like Disney is saving in some money here.

So many other movies with cgi characters that look so much better then they do in this.

or do i have high standards after planet of the apes movies and jungle book. like an examples

Basically. Seeing the castle set is main highlight for me, always loved how it looked in the original, especially the library. Not feeling the depiction of the candlestick and clock guy.

This movie is going to make a metric fuckton of money though. Easily 1+ billion WW.

The whole point of being cursed was so that his beast form was so ugly and monstrous attaining love was near-impossible. It was the ultimate fuck you from the sorceress to the Prince. Making him this twilight werewolf reject shits on the idea entirely...
But it does speak volumes on who they're targeting this to.

Plus, we already had the perfect Gaston. Shame this movie is being made 10 years too late...

The tea cup and the other creatures looked bad to me though. Their designs didn't really work in motion. Particularly the clock. He looks like a fucking Bloodborne villain not a fucking friendly clock lol

This is the exact right movie to convert to live-action. The Jungle Book was the mistake. (Yeah, I said it.)
