People already mentioned Alundra and 3D Dot Heroes as 2D Zelda rip-offs, I recall there being one game like that for Master System but I can't remember the name, it was kind of neat actually.

Golden Axe Warrior, probably. Although there's also Golvellius, which is very similar but not quite as blatant.

Record of Lodoss War on Dreamcast was a fantastic Diablo clone.

The footstep noises drove me nuts, I just couldn't finish that game because of them! Just CLONK CLONK CLONK CLONK everywhere.

For the life of me, I'd never understand why people say Darksiders is like Zelda. I just can't see the similarities.

...Really? It's an open world, in which you puzzle your way into dungeons to unlock powers which you use to first beat the dungeon's boss and then make progress in the open world to the next dungeon. It has more involved combat, but that's it.

I always thought Ladybug was a killer Pac-Man clone.

Loved the revolving walls for quick escapes.

One of my favorite Colecovision titles as well.

I like Giana Sisters DS much more than any NSMB game, even with its obvious flaws.

Karnov's Revenge (Fighters History Dynamite) is legit, too. Wish SNK would get buddy-buddy with G-Mode again so that we could get Ryoko in KOF.

is a pretty awesome rip off of Turican (which I suppose is itself a pretty awesome rip off of Contra and Metroid)
