No sugar? How im supposed to take my caffeine if i cant take sugar with it?Parl said:-Sunlight
-Not too much sugar when you're tired (it gives you a high then a big crash)
-Not too much carbs (can bring on more tiredness)
-Caffeine
-Keep mentally active
-One or two 20 minute naps will assist greatly
-Once tiredness hits, remembering that you'll become less sleepy again after a few hours
-Eat well, but don't get full
Edit: How could I forget showers?
Oh man, cold showers absolutely work!Tiagomnh said:Recently, due to some poorly scheduled deadlines and some major procrastination on my part, I had to stay awake for around 50 hours working. Drank some coffees (around 4, spaced out) and it went somewhat smoothly. I also took three showers, but I don't think they helped much since I always felt extreme sleepiness afterwards. Maybe cold showers would be better... nah, I'm too much of a pussy to endure something that unpleasant. :lol

AVclub said:I find that bachelor parties in Atlantic City are the key. I left my house for one on Friday morning at 7AM and did not return (or sleep) until 3PM Saturday afternoon. During the bachelor party, it's helpful to consume a lot of drugs and alcohol and surround yourself with loud people and naked women. If you find yourself getting drowsy, try placing large amounts of money on bets that are likely a bad idea. That's sure to keep you up for a while.
Hope that helps!
Best to go with no sugar up until at least you have no sugar craving. Not sleeping is not a good idea of course, but coffee or tea with no sugar is the best way to go if you're trying to stay up in the long term (or other sugarless energy drink).itxaka said:No sugar? Still it makes sense as it has happened to me.
Cold showers are a better idea, or at least cool showers. Warming yourself and then you cooling down a lot after getting out gives a strong signal to your circadian rhythm that it's time to go to bed. Your body clock is basically a temperature clock. It'd like how a hot chocolate or a hot bath a hour or so before going to bed helps you sleep.Tiagomnh said:Recently, due to some poorly scheduled deadlines and some major procrastination on my part, I had to stay awake for around 50 hours working. But Nintendo's Consumer Safety and Precautions Booklet specifically warns not to play video games if you are tired or need sleep-viper- said:play video games or listen to music. the latter doesn't always work. sometimes i end up sleeping when listening to music. i rarely feel asleep when playing games, unless the game itself is boring as hell.
you could also take a caffeinated drink, then take a 15 minute nap. you should feel refreshed when woken.

lots of caffeine and probably drugs (both legal/illegal) would be my guess
you could try looking into guarana (legal) as it's basically a caffeine pill
it's sold at GNC as far as I know
Adderall is the best if available.
