And it's sequel: Raw Danger

This thread make me see why the ps2 is one of my favorite console of all time !

I don't know if this was mention but i think Okage is a hidden gem for JRPG fan.

If PS2 classics that are available on PS3 count, here it is for me :

The best of the best :

- Shin Megami Tensei : Nocturne
- Shin Megami Tensei : Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2

Both of them are true masterpieces.

Then :

- Suikoden III
- Suikoden V
- Valkyrie Profile 2 : Silmeria
- Shadow Hearts
- Shadow Hearts : Covenant
- Twisted Metal Black

No, I totally get where you're coming from. Take Jak and Daxter for example; the PS3 trilogy has loads of problems that the PS2 never had. I'm just saying, if we're taking into account PS2 games that did have a re-release with technical differences, then there are a lot of cross platform games that had some. Splinter Cell for example is a different game than the PC/Xbox version, so technically that's a PS2 exclusive, and then you get stuff like San Andreas that had it's, in my opinion, definitive version on PS2.

Cool, cool :D Seems like you got my point! (about certain hd remaster collections sometimes being inferior to PS2 originals)

Interesting point you made about the Splinter Cell PS2 being an exclusive techincally since as you put it, is a different game from the other platforms' versions...I guess there are more cases like that as well in the 16 bit era also (Alladin for Genesis and Super Nintendo being entire different games comes to mind)

Most of the games mentioned in this thread aren't true exclusives. Many PS2 games are also on PS3 as downloads. God Hand, some Shin Megami games and Yakuza 2 are afaik all available as PS2 classics.

I think Valkyria Profile 2 was never released on another system and it's a fantastic game. I didn't play Radiata Stories yet but I only heard good things about it.

Any San Andreas PC version is superior. unlimited resolutions/framerates/controller options, mods for missing visual effects...

I always had a hard time getting through the game without cracking up every time there's a dialogue.

Game itself wasn't bad, but the voice acting is legendary.

You're missing the Raidou Kuzunoha games. They are super underappreciated. Specifically the second one. I'm playing through it for the first time right now and I think it actually holds up really well in 2017. I like it way better than the Persona series.
