I don't mind what they ended up going with - those animations were perfect for how they were used in the actual games, but as full victory animations they'd be a little lacking. Still, it'd have been nice to include the heart-shaped bullet formation in one of the existing ones - it'd line up perfectly with the split-second freeze frame the sequence already has.
