Same here.Skipped it on PS3 as I was already invested in getting my PS4. Will get this as I loved Heavy Rain.
needs to be in a collection with heavy rain and indigo prophecy. Beyond has some really good story moments but it's not worth what Last of Us is worth.
the frame rate needed an upgrade, the game also had jaggies...
The game looks good but it can definitely look better.
Just watch a playthrough on YouTube, it's like playing the game... but free
What's the difference? Lack of QTEs?i don't know how i feel about this. is not the same

Yay or nay? Never played it on PS3
edit: FWIW I enjoyed my time with my one playthrough of Heavy Rain
worst kept secret ever
I'd rather have Heavy Rain.

who asked for this?
Plot holes indeed. Someone who DIED in my girlfriend's run through the game appeared right after in a scene to see her off. Wut.Would double dip for it, despite the terrible plot holes I loved the game.
I never played the original but I'm looking forward to this (budget) release. If they opt PS+ I'd be happy too. (Perhaps that's why it's so "secret".)
Beyond has the most impressive presentation of any game I've played so I'm really looking forward to seeing it on the PS4. Clean up the IQ a bit and it would easily fit it among the top games of the current generation.
Really enjoyed the game, the branching was a lot more subtle than Heavy Rain but it was there and having it focus on the way Jodie develops as a character was really clever. Thought it was a big step up for Quantic Dream's cinematic presentation even if Cage's writing woes often popped up in the more silly, cliched moments of the game (ugh at theat the end of game)flashforward
And the "lol not a game" comments are really silly. Beyond was a huge step forward in terms of interactivity while still letting Quantic Dream have control of the cinematography. The Navajo chapter in particular is a good example of this, huge open area that you can move about freely. The biggest boon for the game though is Aiden, and having control of his actions and watching the results it had on Jodie was great. It's one of the few games where I didn't try to be a terrible person at every opportunity because seeing Jodie become afraid of Aiden was horrifying.
Heavy Rain is a much better game in all respects.
Nay, seriously there is some truly god awful writing in this game.
