I disagree, but that's because I don't look at the sticks when I play. Keeping things under control in a game like that is all about what's going on in the game on-screen. As long as the controls are consistent, there should not be any difference in accuracy of control.

As big of a fan of Sony I am I can't help but see the parallels. Ive always gone to the system with the great 3rd party support and Sony had me locked with them as soon as FFVII was released on the ps1...granted Iv'e owned all consoles but my library is playstation heavy. Doesn't seem liek it will be like this for this gen. anyway

What fanboy attack?? This simple sucks. I'm a Sony "fanboy", but this shit is just too much. Sony is sinking, and this kind of announcement is merely the signs of a mayor disaster. Sony forgot that just one big **** up is necessary to lose the crown, and they had several mini **** ups, but the price was the mayor one.

Yep. I wonder for how long he'll keep his job...I don't doubt Stringer is to blame as well, I suspect he had a mayor part in approving the "Mercedes PS3".

Sony should have had games as their first priority when making the PS3, BluRay should have been a nice bonus, not the cause of the brand's fall.

Because the PS3 is doomed after 4 months on the market and having not even launched in it's strongest territory right? Or because Blu-Ray appears poised to win the next gen movie format war?


I don't know if Blu-Ray will ever reach the popularity of DVD, but assuming it does I think Sony may consider that the PS3 was an acceptable casualty.

Not that that's any comfort to those who already bought a PS3. :lol

I think the 'playstation kid' will be an ever increasingly annoying fanboy demographic over the next couple of years. Called so because they seem to think Sony invented the industry and are running around crying their tits off because Sony's dropped the ball and are paying the price.

That's the problem though isn't it? If PS3 tanks because of the blu-ray trojan horse, Sony will still be happy because they may win the HD format war. The casualties of this are the gamers. And quite honestly, only the true die hard Sony fans can be happy about that outcome. Happy that the company came out on top in an area that the company cares most about. While us gamers are kicked in the balls.
